I thought the first 1 was "amazing" lol. If not for anything else it was def Andrew Garfield's performance. He looks like a "Peter Parker". Made me reevaluate the first trilogy and Tobey Maguire's performance
the first one sucked but the action was

Tobey wasn't a good or bad Peter. He wasn't memorable so I could care less about who the better Parker is. I don't think the Spider Man series in general has aged well so that's why people think Garfield is the better of the two. It helps that he and Stone meshed really well together on screen.

I feel Tobey got the Peter Parker look down from the comics and animated series, as for acting, Garfield has it with being a jokester and all but it is hard to blame Tobey for it since he isn't in charge of the script, he can only try and deliver what was given to him. There were shades of that Spidey comedy in his portrayal though, it is just more emphasized in Garfield script/version.

I stand by a great casting of Tobey as Spidey, at least dude actually looks like a geek. Garfield looks like a popular hipster just by looking at him to be honest.

Tobey's performance was good but it felt soul-less sometime. And paired along side Kirsten dunst there were a couple dry dialogue scenes lookin back. I hadn't heard of Andrew Garfield before I saw that comic-con footage of him showin his passion for the upcoming role as Peter Parker. I mean growing up a comic nerd and social outcast he embodied what not only a Spider-Man film should be like during that press conference but he was honored to play the part. All the actors before would be like "I never really heard about Spider-Man till the 90's cartoon" or yeah I know a little about him, but this guy is a comic nerd! A Spider-Man nerd at that! Perfect casting

I think SM1 & SM2 stands the test of time, I watch it on TNT from time to time and it's still that comicy, somewhat cheesy and lighthearted film, it's still good in my view.

I think plenty were just turned off by SM3, it left a bad taste in most of viewers mouth and they certainly do not forget so everything in the franchise got a backlash.

Dafoe as GG and Molina as Dock Ock were great. Franco's updated GG and Venom, not so much. Sandman was ok, if they made him the sole villain, the movie could have been salvaged instead of forcing Venom to the picture.

Casting a big nerd for the role doesn't always equate to good casting, Cage is a big Ghost Rider nerd and look how that turned out. Reynolds is supposedly a giant GL geek too and again, not much else needs to be said.

He is also a big Superman Nerd, even named his kid Kal-El iirc and look what could have been, a balding Superman.

Seriously, that picture on the top of the page is in a SPOILER.

When some one asks who's that. It might be nicer to put your answer in a spoiler. This is twice you've done this in the thread.

The script for GL sucked and Nic cage is just weird

Jamie Foxx has been a favorite of mine for 15 years ...I'm not angry he's offered roles, but I am angry that Marvel doesn't want to invest in Luke Cage or The Black Panther, Cloak and Dagger or Brother Voodoo.

Imagine, Kevin Hart, 2 Chainz, or some **** in a Luke Cage movie? It would be off the hook. But instead they give these public sympathy roles to blacks so we don't feel left out.

Dare Devil is one of my Top 5 Marvel characters and Ben did an excellent job....but a bullied white guy who runs New York would have been far more impressive and intimidating than Michael Clarke Duncan's affirmative action role.

Idris could have had a Luke Cage cameo in Thor or The Avengers just to test the waters... if would've been received positively I'm sure.

I just hate these almost offensive sympathy roles because they're scared blacks won't  support the movie or Al Sharpton is gonna show up on set.
     ^This
I get what you are saying but I don't think idris,Samuel,Terrence Howard/chidle,Jaime,halle, are given these roles as "sympathy"
Now if you say the green mile, bagger vance( the magical negro roles) are way more offensive and insulting to black people's intellegience
Electro was a scientist my dude
At the end of the day if we want to be represented then our black actors should make these movies and as black people we should support those movies
But this is Spider-Man, it's not that serious
I am more angry when my people get the opportunities and people instantly bring out fake rage once again like when Donald glover was being consider to be spider man or the little girl that was in the hungar games and all the prejudice stuff that was said
New directions should be embraced as long as the story is good and the actors are top notch and the director actually stays true to source material and Jaime instantly is going to make all the other actors bring there "a"game
Edit: movies that were just horrible with new directions
Mario bros.
Every resident evil
Last air bender ( talk about racist)
I'll think of more
     and I get this ^

But I lean more toward the 1st quote

     Marvel already has blk characters

Why not just stick to the script

They don't need to force feed

     completely skipping Black Panther

and bringing out Falcon for Capt America 2 is proof something's not right

Wouldn't be a Falcon if not for Black Panther ijs

Is Felicity Jones Playing Felicia Hardy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2?

Way back in January it was reported that actress Felicity Jones was in talks to join The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in an undisclosed role. Well, the cat might be out of the bag. Bleeding Cool stumbled upon an interview with the actress in which she seemingly confirms that she will be playing Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, in the upcoming film.

When asked if she was looking forward to everyone seeing her as Black Cat in the film, Jones replied: "Uhm, Well.....possibly, I don't know. Yeah, If that happens that would be wonderful."

Though not a definitive "Yes," Jones' answer to the question would lead one to believe that she will play Felicia Hardy in the film and could return as Black Cat in future movies (which were dated for a 2016 and 2018 release yesterday).

I'm ecstatic.

I think this amazing Spider-Man series could become the best comic franchise film series. I mean we know we'll see Osborne, there's talks of vulture now, and then you have this new Felicia hardy news...add to that Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy already in this series and you have so many stories you can put on film .....

Norman Osborne, Gwen Stacy.....sins past storyline 8o

Nahhhhhhhh :lol

Felicity Jones :hat :hat :hat

She's going to have A LOT more fans after this movie I'm expecting.

Finally Webb smartened up.

I still don't know who'd be a great fit but right now I think they should get Sansa Stark to be MJ :smokin
