No, he didn't have it in the film. Never played the game so I was confused.

Is the birthday hat one real? :lol

I like the corny web-shooting poses Spider-Man is doing in all the promo pics for this sequel. If anything, you can definitely say they got spidey's whit right in ASM. The wisecracking Spider-Man that Garfield plays is already better than the crybaby Spider-Man that Tobey maguire played in the original trilogy

While I agree that I did like some of the wisecracking cause that's the way Spidey is supposed to be but the writers and Garfield over did it.

To the point where it made me feel like Peter deserved to get bullied cause he seemed like lil dickhead.

I'm getting tired of the Raimi trilogy slander just cause of SP3. We just gonna sit here and act like SP1 wasn't a good movie and SP2 wasn't a classic.

I swear I hate when it becomes cool to hate something. Same thing happened to the Matrix trilogy cause of that one scene in Reloaded. Bunch of people actin like high schoolers afraid of being unpopular. :{

Raimi's version didn't age well. True classics don't have that problem.

I for one am one of the few that appreciate Spider-Man 3. With its many flaws it still managed to have many memorable moments (minus tobey's dance moves). Even though sandmans story was :x I enjoyed him on screen. But after watching ASM I really notice a lot of the flaws from the original trilogy

Spidey is a wisecracking smartass, Peter is not. That's what I meant when I said they over did it.

No matrix trilogy was terrible. That is a legitimate reason to hate. The matrix was goat and all the sequels were trash

But dude....Pete is a dickhead :lol

I actually still hold SM2 in very high regard. There are elements of SM1 that don't hold up to well to me (Goblin, etc.) but all in all it was a good movie. But it was part of the first phase of Marvel's movies and just like X1 it just doesn't hold up. That's not to say that it wasn't good for the time that it came out. SM3 though was so bad though that its hard to even watch the end of SM2 at times :lol

I hated Reloaded when it came out as well (I'm not sure what scene you're talking about) but I have become a lot more forgiving of that movie. I just didn't like the first 30 min.

The Raimi films are unwatchable now.

I don't care if I'm being too cool for the room or any of that. They stink.

More From Marc Webb On TASM 2; Says Fourth Film "Might Not Just Be A SPIDER-MAN Movie"

On What To Expect From A Fourth Movie And Introducing Multiple Characters In The Series:

"Well, I think this was conceived of as a trilogy so there was a defined architecture to the story we were telling and we had sort of a rough outline of what was going to happen. I think [for] the fourth movie, what we've discovered is there are so many ancillary characters, that have enormous, cinematic potential that there may be other ways to exploit those characters, in a way that is exciting and fun and worthwhile. It might not just be a Spider-Man movie.

"I think there's… You know, what was fun about the comics is that there's an entire sort of encyclopedia of characters and stories and histories and nuances and idiosyncrasies and off-shoots. I think that that is something that seems to be really successful and has a lot of potential so it's sort of, as yet, undefined, but intentionally so."

I smell....

How will they introduce it is my question seeing that Peter's father had a role in creating it.

I would definitely be down for this. Then they could give Venom a whole movie to show his back story and have Spiderman make Cameos throughout the movie. Kind of how they do most of the movies but from the other perspective. This would limit the chance of another SM3 debacle because they dont know how to move Spiderman/Peter Parker's character along on screen so that you're interested in that story the whole time.

I think they'd drop the ball on a Venom look, Lizard looked horrible but it didn't take away from the movie all that much

Speaking of Lizard, I thought the unused design was much better than the one they used.

Truth.

I actually liked Matrix Reloaded as well.

That's the Ultimate version. All they gotta do here is kill Gwen, make Peter susceptible for the symbiote to bond with him and have it come from space. Simplest way is a meteorite crash at the beginning of the movie, that's taken right from the 90s cartoon when the symbiote came back to Earth the 2nd time (1st time had to do with astronauts going to the moon and bringing it back).

They could make his father still create it though, since his father was a scientist in this version and I read somewhere Peter would learn more secrets about his parents.

To me though, they have to get Brock right. Symbiote is easy to introduce. Brock as an arch-enemy has to be spot on.

Garfield said he'd like to see Spidey with the Avengers.
Don't we all? I'm here for his wisecracks seeing as his defense mechanism for fear. Lol Pete's wisecracks vs Ultron LOLOLOLOL

Hugh Jackman also said he wants to see Wolverine in the Avengers..

I heard...

Man give Fox and sony (?)10% of the profits for the rights and get em done. Thats a 2 billion dollar flick.
