Garfield looked too cool to be Peter Parker, don’t know why he got a Bigger pop in my theatre than Tobey. When my cousins watched it they said Tobey got the bigger applause. I feel like it’s an age thing. Younger crowd love Garfield. Dude was to emo for me in those TASM movies he was crying every 10 min

Definitely an age thing…Tobey got the crazy cheering reaction in my showing while Andrew got an audible gasp from several people…Going for my second show Thursday which is nearly sold out, so we’ll see who gets the play…

As for the future of things…With the amount of success this thing has pulled there’s no way Sony / Disney don’t try and run this into the ground…It’s almost too simple at this point…

Make Andrew the Sony-Verse Spider Man with Venom and Morbius and such…

Give Tobey one last movie to close out his series…Use the movie to springboard Spider Girl…

Build up Tom over his next two movies then use his third to introduce Miles, at which point he can take over as the MCU Spidey…

Only thing Sony / Disney would have to worry about is finding enough time to be able to count the bazillions of dollars this will make them…

garfield got the benefit of coming out first so after than you kind of expect tobey to come soon after

women love garfield though so that extra cheers right there

just saw the movie at the crib... i really liked it but i wasn't a fan of the end... i liked they brought back a lot of old villains and of course the other spidey's... it kinda reminded me of the meme

Just put two and two together about something. Garfield’s Peter mentioned how he stopped pulling punches because of the rage, and the Morbius trailer showed a part with a Spider-man “MURDERER” poster in the background, that he’s likely Peter in the Morbius/Venom world and has been a merciless Spidey.

Eddie mentioned going to New York, and Tom Hardy mentioned how they could only make so many Venom movies without Spidey. So with them now also talking about giving Electro his own movie, and Keaton in some mysterious role in Morbius (Vulture?), I can see them giving Garfield the bag to play full Sony Spidey. Even casuals would understand it’s “the other Spider-Man” at this point after No away Home.

the spidey in the morbius trailer is tobey spidey though and the daily bugle is the same one on the tobeyverse too, the trailer is just a mixed bag and im not even sure sony is capable of explaining it all but we’ll see

All that inconsistency reminding me of the DC movie confusion but they at least got the multiverse to explain that.

The one thing about the spell I don’t understand is how they don’t know Peter at all. I thought the spell was for everyone to forget Peter Parker is Spider-Man, not erase himself entirely. Ned and Michelle should know Peter Parker, the person. Another thing was the G.E.D. study guide; he should have been able to attend school normally.

How do they explain Toomes/Vulture in Morbius though?

gon have to wait and see… i think pascal thought she just has free reigns to do whatever and use MCU versions then feige got to stop him or something

movie is just all over the place but maybe thats the selling point

i dont even know who the main villain/main antagonist of the movie is

i think its gotten to the point int he end where strange had to change the spell where peter parker didnt exist at all to prevent any more issues and that was a change from the initial spell where people just didnt know peter was spidey

i mean if we’re nitpicking, it really would have been easy to just tell mj, ned, hot aunty and happy that he is spiderman again but thats my mentality and not a naive, high schooler

That would make sense that Doctor Strange changed the original spell to the one you stated. Hopefully that will be explained in his movie but from what I heard these two movies aren’t connected anymore due to the pandemic.

its got to be connected in some way as NWH introduced the multiverse and gon be further hr explored in DS2, the cause of whatever is happening in DS2 is probably due to NWH and how reckless he was

Variant Toomes.

After rewatching, Peter decided to take the spell one step further and make everyone forget him instead of just forget he's Spider-Man.

So it's like he was the nobody in high school everybody else does not remember. I'm sure you have one of those if you look through ya yearbook.

Looking back on the movie, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, next to the PlayStation Spider-Man has it the worst. Tobey and Andrew at least have their aunt Mays (Judging from Spider-Man 3 with Tobey). Also, did anyone notice that he had the same exact apartment from the PlayStation game in the movie.

8.5 out of 10. i knew what waa going to happen and i was still excited. makes me want to buy the set eventually

Saw No Way Home in a 100 year old theatre. Definitely don't make em like this anymore. Place got pretty packed. Watching movies in old theaters like these are still an entirely elevated experience for me than an ordinary dark room with a big screen.

Not really into Marvel movies but I eventually end up seeing most of them. I actually liked this one tho.

Fam did they serve popcorn in those long thick paper cartons with the red stripes on em? Smoking seems like it would be allowed here too.

Naw, they served em in regular 3 size buckets. Line for concession stand originally stretched outside and around the block tho  :smh: . Once the movie started more than half the line ran to their seats lol. I stuck around and only had to wait 5min. Place seats a wild amount of ppl.

Was watching Emily In Paris with the wifey this weekend and thought about whether Ashley Park would work as Silk. Then again, Sony can throw the bag to HoYeon Jung of Squid Game (#067), she speaks pretty good English I think.
