I ******* hate that movie but some people like or even loved it... so

IM 3 is kinda hit or miss movie IMO
Exactly I liked iron man 3 maybe to people who love the source material hate it understandable but all around its a fun movie

Hindsight is 20/20

At the time spider man and especially spiderman 2 were good and spiderman 3 I still have a soft spot for BUT...

They're buns now. This new spiderman trilogy is showing us how spiderman is really suppose to be on screen. Not some crybaby who got his girl stolen from his best friend :rolleyes

^^^^ yeah. I've watched the old trilogy plenty of times, and I still can't remember much from them. I just don't see the praise the second film gets.

Yes and no. For me SM2 is the best bar none of Spidey flicks.

ASM1 isn't better SM1 to me and both aren't much to rave about anyway. ASM trilogy still has a ways to go to prove itself. I just don't think they can produce anything as bad as SM3. I'll know it's potential and ranking with ASM2

Spiderman 2 is still graet.

The first Raimi Spiderman was good... I liked The Amazing Spiderman a little better. But it wasn't "great" because we already saw half of it in the first original movie. He's unpopular, he gets bit, Uncle Ben dies, etc. I know they had to do the origins and get it out of the way, but yeah.. I just rewatched The Amazing Spiderman and I found myself liking it even more. The fight scenes were solid, Garfield is a great Spiderman, Emma Stone is gorgeous, it's got a lot to like. What I most liked about it was after I saw it originally in theaters I said "I can't wait to see what they do with the sequel now that the origins is out of the way" :lol

Outside of the origin, Spiderman 1 to me is bad. I just didn't like it.

lol, deer god
look at the comments from before the film opened everywhere to after.

I'm starting to believe people may bring this film down because of the plot. That's what I'm reading from a lot of reviews. There's no real central plot, just a lot of things going on.

Sounds like a "set up movie" then. Everything just laid out for the sequel

Pretty much. They say the third act sets up a lot of stuff.

Hate how movies are all like that now. It's like you can't enjoy it truly everything is out. It is what it is though.

It's almost like the best part of every movie is the 30sec after credits scene now

I don't think it'll be a distraction though, because they're saying it's a very Peter centric film, and Garfield and Stone pretty much make the film.

can someone help me out, i saw a picture off a link in here someone recently posted that had a pic of eddie brock being taken over by venom. it looked pretty much like this but much cleaner/less busy... can someone point me to that picture? doing an art project and want to use it

By Eddie Brock

The greater New York tri-state area got a whole lot safer yesterday. Captured late last night, Cletus Kasady, escaped serial killer and notorious redhead, was eerily calm and subdued when he eagerly surrendered to the FBI. The manhunt for the FBI’s Most Wanted felon ended innocuously in a small strip mall outside of New Rochelle, New York.

A barista at a local coffee shop recognized Kasady and eventually called the police. The barista apologized to reporters later admitting she didn’t immediately alert authorities hoping Spider-Man would beat them to the scene. “What can I say? I am a HUGE fan.”

Kasady had been sentenced to twelve life sentences for the twelve murders he committed — but escaped while being transported between federal prisons. Sources say Kasady has been remanded to Ravencroft Institute for further interrogation until he is relocated to a maximum security federal prison. While the barista didn’t get her wish, we know Spider-Man thanks her… as we all do. For now it appears that Kasady won’t be causing any more carnage.

Ready to see how they'll interpret Venom for the spinoff. It has to be Eddie Brock for them to do it justice, don't give me the flash Thompson agent crap. Would like to see Andrew Garfield in a co-starring role as the antagonist
