Stand Up Comedy

personally, i think mitch hedberg was hilarious, but his comedy might not be for everyone.

russell peters is a funny guy too. i was at the hollywood improv one night and he showed up out of nowhere to do a set. dude brought the house down!

I'm a huge stand up enthusiast as well but it just seems that in the past couple of years, the new comics just haven't met the standards I expect from the 90's and 2000's.
People also been hyping Kevin Hart way too much as the next big thing when he isn't even all that funny. I can never sit through any one of his specials without having to turn that **** off. Aziz Ansari was good for the first two of his specials. Louis CK is always great when he puts material out although I haven't really checked out his show. George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle are my personal favorites and will always be recognized as legends. Patrice O'Neal's Elephant in the Room was some good **** too. RIP.

Sklar Brothers, Jay Mohr, Tom Segura, Bert Kriesher, Rob Delaney, Dave Attell.

I also have a thing for Chelsea Peretti.

Is Joe Rogan funny?

It wasn't till recently I found out he was also a comedian. His podcasts are great though.

All of the guest featured on Opie & Anthony are great.

Patrice Oneal, Louis CK, Bill Burr, Dave Attell, Amy Schumer, & Dane Cook are some of my favorites.

100% true, if you've ever seen his comedy central hour, where it's like lukewarm the first half of the show then he keeps making jokes about how he's gonna restart the time on his special and starts doin older stuff... that was a **** up by cc... they filled the audience with randoms off the street rather than fans who would appreciate him and it took him half an hour to dig out of the hole that reception started with o.o!

Colin Kane, local dude from NY. Met him a bunch years ago when he was starting out and opening for people at Carolines and stuff. Now hes blowing up, moved to LA, writing a comedy show etc

Jim Jeffries
Bill Burr
Aziz Ansari
Russell Peters

The top of my list for sure. Jim Jeffries has me in tears, regularly. Wish I could post some clips but they would get me a suspension. :lol
