#1. She was obviously helped as she sat through the movie. "That's Obi-Wan Kenobi. Remember him? He helps Skywalker. Oh, there's the light-upsword again. You like those, huh?"

#2. She's probably seen it many, many times, like her mom or dad (or both) are big Star Wars fanatics.

it says in the video description that her father showed it to her once, over a four day span.

^ Ah. Then my #1 can still be right, and the fact that it was over a 4-day span really changes things. Kids learn in small bits, so showing it to her like at.v. show, in half-hour increments, helped her take it all in.
