You wasn't expecting a lightsaber battle at all from Solo or Rogue One really.
As for the ST lets say they were also copying the OT in that it didnt have great sword choreography either
I'll hold out hope at least for the next movie.
Vid could've been better. Didnt hear the lightsaber sound on every swing. Saw this weird effect when the sword was blocked

I assume Kylo only could do it cuz he was a part of that force dyad with Rey.
Obviously its a skill/talent only special force users who have never trained in the force but are super force sensitive can do

The force healing has been done in the EU before but it takes a lot of practice and can be dangerous especially bringing someone back to life. But hey like what Finn said we will use the force.
