Stretching Nike Basketball Shoes

I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this, but I was wondering if anyone knows of some good techniques to stretch shoes. I did some googling and I have tried the freezer trick but didn't have much luck. I also tried wearing the shoes with multiple pairs of socks but it was too painful.

I'm trying to stretch a pair of the LeBron 9 Elites. I only need 1/4 inch if possible on the length. Thanks.

Fam, did u went 1/2 size up on dem bron 9 elites?..

If u ask me, it's gonna be hard for those elites to stretch 'coz they're made of synthetic materials (rubber &

plastic) plus the fact that they have carbon fiber on the side acting as "mud guards"... 

So, I don't know can those sneakers stretch but GL!..
