You be surprised how many of them native chicks that havnt been to spots you think think are dope tho.

Where should I take her?
Botanic Garden but can't think of anything think right now outside of random museums.

I'm all for new spots to eat. I'll see a spot that looks dope or alot people outside eating then make plans to take a chick there.

Let me see if I can find that restaurant on by H street. There another spot I think would be a good brunch spot.

I was thinking of taking her to this Mediterranean Fusion tapas spot, Agora, in Logans Circle area. But it's expensive. And I want to :hat beforehand. Is it too ambitious to invite her over to my spot then leave for dinner from there? She lives in Potomac, MD. So Georgetown is right between us like 20 min away from both of our places. Would probably take her 40-50 min to get to my place. Welp. Gotta figure out the best spots logistically especially if we're drinking.

I'd say Clydes, the prices are okay, but the overall atmosphere is unmatched, especially for an older female. It's a mixture of young professionals and DC matures (mostly the cool ones).

If you're trying to break the ice, get seated upstairs, if you're trying to bring it home by showing her a good time chill at the bar, the music is different than upstairs and it's more for the professional crowd that's trying to loosen up for the weekend.

It's also not that far of a walk to the White House, and you could Priceline a nice hotel for like $60-80 dollars, if the date goes there.

Man best spot you want is something that's close to either of your spots. Gotta fix the logistics to make sex possible. Clyde's? meh. You're in DC, you can do better. If you wanna do an oyster bar, do Hank's. Haven't tried rappahanock oyster co, but that should be good too.

question - when yall bag some fresh yambs how often do you contact them and are you the one initiating contact most times? I've been told by several chicks that they can't tell if I like them or not. kind of a good problem to have but I don't really want them thinking I'm just using them as a come dumpster, I do like these chicks but I've never been one to hit people up on a daily basis

**** do hot and juicy for a little Southern seafood. Line is sometimes long tho...

Also it's crab season you can grab some blue crabs and find a spot to eat them outside.

Listen to this guy if you want ...@Hennessy

The LAST thing you want is spots close to EITHER of you, for a first date.

Psychologically women bond better with men when they are in an UNFAMILIAR environment that the TWO discovered together. Her primitive instincts kicks into overdrive allowing him to be the "hunter" and "protector", everything he does will be amplified because she's completely focused on him and not her familiar surroundings. Tribal instincts kick in if you invite her back to your place too early in the game. She'll be on high alert.

Clyde's isn't about the food, it's about the atmosphere, a lot of young professionals and celebrities hang out there and in that area. It's more about stimuli. A nice meal with some cool people around and switching it up kicking it with her on politics while walking to the White House will display his intelligence in way that isn't pretentious. It will seem more casual than anything else, which will turn her on.

Whenever I feel like talking to them. These chicks have short attention spans though so I wouldn't wait too long especially if you've already smashed and plan on continuing to do so in the future. I didn't hit up this one chick for two days after we smashed and she said she thought I didn't like her.

If you care enough to contact them more then you go for it.

I'm not worried about if her mind kicks into overdrive close to her house or not. I'm just taking her out.

I would take a chick on a first day a block from my crib if the spot had good sushi or salmon. I don't be thinking too much on that other stuff.

She either likes me or not

Well we already had the first date. I didn't think his idea was too bad.

Which Clyde's are you talking about. I've been to Clyde's in Gallery Place many times before for happy hours. It's not a bad spot but I didn't think it was anything special. I'm certainly not the type of guy who is going to talk about politics and walk to the White House though. She doesn't seem that way either. I appreciate the words though.

I love oysters so if she's into that I think that'd be fun.

Where do you place her class and looks wise, this may be where we're running into static. You have pics? PM me, so I can see what we're dealing with here. Clyde's in Georgetown is the place I was talking about.

Oh you know what I've been to Clyde's in Georgetown quite a few times too. I knew the name was familiar just couldn't place it on the establishment. I've been to J Paul's more often though since it's nice to sit by the windows when they're open.

...yeah after evaluation of her pics, Clyde's is that route and the walk to the White House area, she looks like she NEEDS that in her life. It will definitely give you a competitive edge.

Threes a crawfish spot in Rosslyn amazing ..

Always clarendon area

You talking Chasin tails? that spot is good too. I love those types of spots. There's another one in falls church called new orleans cajun seafood. Not as fancy as the others, not the best service, but delicious and cheap.

Hmmm I'm going to have to check that spot out and you the prices are cheap

Edit
NVM these MFers want to charge me $2.25 for fries. That **** should be included in the price of the poboy

The new orleans cajun? Oh yeah that spot is strictly for the per pound seafood specials, meh on the fried **** and anything else. It's almost like a little hood chinese spot, ask the owner about any specials. There was about 6 of us and we got out of there for around 120 with I don't know how many lbs of crawfish/crab legs/mussels/shrimp. And the beers are around 2 bucks. Ain't really no spot to impress a chick unless she's a wild foodie, you get better reactions from the cleaner hot n juicy/chasin tails atmosphere.
