What made you back off? You were ready to commit to her, but the minute she wants to commit to you, you lose interest? Sounds like you lose interest when you know you can have them. No judgement, plenty of people want to have some form of challenge even if they can have it, they don't want to be told that.
The other thing is, between her last two messages, did you say something to her and delete? Or is she that crazy that she's talking to herself, thinking you think she's a horrible person?

That's always been my problem, I have this belief that relationship takes time to build, you have to know a person before knowing a person, at the time me committing with her would've been straight infatuation, and we were moving at a high velocity I needed to pull back and make sure that I really wanted to do that.
I don't send messages and delete, when she said she wish I died, I called her thinking that maybe I could end this on a good note but she kept talking about me how I used her I played her, I need to kill myself so I told her she was horrible and that I wasted my time even calling her, and hung up.
