So just got off the phone with Mali's Doctors. Her scans yesterday went very well! As of now she has NO PROGRESSIVE DISEASE (Meaning according to the scans she had, they don't see anything left) & and the cancer is not active! NO SHE STILL IS NOT IN REMISSION BC SHE NEEDS TO FINISH ALL OF HER TREATMENT including the transplant, radiation and immunotherapy! Her doctor didn't get to look at her bone marrow biopsy but is assuming that there is nothing left in the marrow because everything else is looking good! Keep on wishing for the best! SN: I couldn't be happier. Im truly thankful and blessed that my daughter is so strong. She is going thru a lot and i promise to be there every step of the way!! So Maliyah's mom texted me this last night, saying that she is going to wear her costume all of October, because she'll be getting a bone marrow transplant around Halloween time.

Every time I come in this thread I tear up. Children are so amazingly resilient. Seeing her in her costume made my day. Glad to read she's doing so well. Prayers that the transplant goes as comfortably as possible for her.

UPDATE ON MALI: 

So she has been on antibiotics to clear up this infection. All of her blood cultures WHERE coming back negative. And we where GOING to go home friday for 10days then come back for 8weeks to do her transplant. BUUUT of course every time we are about to be discharged things start poping up! She has yet another infection in her line. Coming from the one she already has!! SMH. im so frustrated!! OH AN ON TOP OF THAT DOCS ARE ACTUALLY SUPRISED THAT THERE IS STILL NEUROBLASTOMA CELLS IN HER MARROW. They thought because of her scans that it would be out but unfortunatly not. That doesnt change there plan on givng the transplant, radiation and immunotherapy. I swear ima pray EVEN HARDER for this transplant to work and everything else so that my baby is CANCER FREE! Period. All this bad news is really killin me softly, but i cant be mad cus MY BABY IS THE ****! Such a precious little girl who smiles thru all of this ********!!
