nice posts the last days:

those spikes with the golden swoosh look beautuifull, as are the small BIG nike
concerning the pics: i use a white background and then overexposure that,
which creates a nice effect....shoes jump out of the picture.... its not a box, just a plastic like cardboard
you can have the same effect with spotlights (like in studios)
