Give me steph any day over wall if im a GM

Great scorers like that dont come around often, john wall does a lil bit of everything but hes not up there yet with russ/steph/cp3

Curry, CP3, Lowry and Westbrook are all playing better than Wall right now.

Westbrook's missed a bunch of games so I guess you can take him off there.

As much as I don't really like Kyrie or Lillard, there both more efficient than Wall right now, too.

Wall is a better defender than both of them, tho.

Conley has been great, Teague's been flying under the radar.

There's a ton of really good 1's right now.

I'd put Rondo up here but when you're shooting like 25% from the line it just pisses me off, :lol

Because he's not even close to being the best PG in the game right now, :lol

The PG position is absolutely stacked.

hyperbole much? He's definitely close.

That's the same dude that said AI was overrated.

Yea, because he is.

Everyone has a off night. Those 7 West teams they beat lost to a team that lost to the Lakers.

Fair point. I'm just not sold on the Raptors as a legitimate title contender. Plus, when you look at who they actually played, that 7-2 record isn't as impressive as it seems. Wins against OKC (no Westbrook or Durant), Utah twice, Denver and Sacramento. The only West playoff teams they've beaten are Memphis and Phoenix. I'm going to need them to pull off a few more wins against the Warriors, Spurs, Clippers, Blazers, Rockets before I start believing they can compete with any team in the West.

@Hyper When you talk about Kyrie/Lillard being more "efficient," what do you mean by that?

They shoot better from the floor and turn the ball over much less.

Can't really speak on Lillard b/c I don't tune in to as many Blazers games as I'd like...

But (not to sound condescending) you do realize that Kyrie has WAY less responsibility as a "PG" than Wall, right? He's not handling the rock nearly as much.

Agree. I'm just tryna find hope for my conference somewhere vs the West. Lol

Of course I do.

But even last year Kyrie's TO were under 3 a game, now they're under 2.

Obv because of LeBron, like you mentioned.

Wall's great, I'd probably have him in the 5-7 range, but we've been saying he needs to chill w/ the TO's and consistently knock down the jumper ever since he came into the league.

Is that ever gonna happen? Maybe, I guess we'll see.

I personally love dude, he's a beast and I love guards who can block shots, :lol

its hard to turn the ball over when you aren't passing.

in the case of being more of a traditional PG, wall >> lilliard and kyrie

For what it's worth, I think the Wizards (if Wall continues to play at a really high level), Bulls (if D Rose stays healthy) and (yuck) Cavs can complete with any team from the West.

I know one thing...Wall is definitely better than some of the people ya'll hype up (Kyrie, Lillard etc)
Agreed...
I think Wall is right up there with the likes of Westbrook. And most poeple may not agree, but if I'm building a team from scratch I'm taking Wall over Curry. Not too often you find a PG that is the full package like Wall. I'm a fan of PG's that have more than an offensive game.
Disagree.

"Likes of Westbrook" and Wall over Curry is a bit strong. Woah dere.

Steph may very well end up being the greatest shooter of all time. His value in today's NBA is immeasurable.

I don't see why not, his roll has just changed.

He's doing what he has to do for them to succeed and he's shooting lights out.

Secondary ball handler and he's still basically @ 5 APG, not bad.

So then how are you comparing him to dudes who are the primary ballhandlers on their squads?

I'm not even going to entertain that.

Lowry is not outplaying Wall this year. The only sizeable differences in their stats across the board are assists, steals, blocks, and turnovers. Only one of those is in Lowrys favor

LOL.

There's a stat that combines box score and adjusts for pace, it's called PER.

Take a look sometime, you might be surprised.
