So, having Pop coaching OKC would do absolutely nothing?

Ok,

Pretty sure I saw the best player on the planet get absolutely destroyed in last years Finals.

It's not an absolute thing which is why I said more times than not. The spurs had the better players in that series regardless but the point is that more often than not, your success is directly tied to how great your best player is, and a coach will have a marginal effect on that, if at all.

Should also mention that I do feel pop is a great coach but they have a stacked roster. That being said, Pop puts those guys in positions that accentuate what they do well, which is why I give him credit as a coach.
