In the long run I still think Love will be just fine. There's still an adjustment period. What caught my eye yesterday was just his overall lackadaisical demeanor. Seems disinterested in getting dirty in the paint. His effort is subpar, even by his standards.

He's been only an overrated stat padder for years and a mediocre defender
Varejao was masking his defensive deficiencies, but since he's out, Cavs defense been leakier than a run down faucet

Your trolling aside, they do have some major deficiencies. Definitely need to add a wing defender and an interior rim protector. Can't see them winning a title with this roster.

If the NBA season were to end now, the east conference favorites are either the Raptors or Bulls

Bosh is better. K love just rebounds better thats it. Bosh could defend, shoots better and more accurately. Yall tease Bosh for being soft, but his character allowed him to accept his role and they florished.

K love ain't bout to do that. Wade's greatness allowed him to accept being a Option A B.

yeah that might be a bigger issue. just watching the last few minutes last night idk they rubbed me the wrong way with the lack of urgency and no one attacking the rim. too complacent on offense.

Absolutely not, Phil has a plan in place. Melo is still a very effective player & no team is gonna give you back equal value. They have what looks to be a top 3 pick coming in & tons of Cap. In a East that suddenly seems wide open, I know Melo gets a lot of fault but he's done everything asked of him this season, and i'm pretty sure Phil is trying to build around him.

with that said if surgery is really needed... just let Melo get the surgery now, rest up & Try and develop whatever young players you think can be pieces for the future.

Hardaway, Larkin, & Early when he's healthy should be seeing A lot of minutes. At this point Shump ain't workin in NYC, Smith is smith, Amare if he wants to sign back for cheap would be a GREAT piece off the bench.

If the knicks handle this correctly, they can be a good team by next year.
