The cavs are starting to look really funny in the light and as i predicted.... None of the Blame goes to Lebron... EVERYONE else gets it but him. But let them go on a winning streak it's gonna be back to Lebron makes his teammates so much better. It's hilarious.

Lady from my job who went to the Cavs game is not pleased

"My baby didnt play last night, it dont make any sense, I should have got my money back" shes on a tirade :lol .

How many of you guys have gone to games where X person isnt playing? Does it make you mad? Feel like you wasted money?

I've been got games where Tim Duncan/Manu sat out, and it didnt bother me at all, but the way my team is structured is different than most.

I was going to Clippers games for years when they didn't have anyone worth watching to begin with, so no, that kind of thing doesn't bother me.

It seemed as if the Grizz were losing a lot in that brutal December, but they finished 8-5 with ZBo missing 5 of those 13 games and TA missing 4.

Maybe the media isn't blaming lebron, but NT is letting him have it. Rightfully so at this point IMO. Does dude even like basketball anymore?

I can see where that lady is coming from. Most people who really go to games are casual NBA fans with money anyways. I know plenty of people who go to sporting events and know only 1 player from the other team at the most.

When I go to Blazer games I always go to the cheap games and watch the Al Jeff/Kyle Lowry type guys of the NBA. Great players that don't make my seat $50 more if they were to be in town. More money for the booze :hat

Hell, I even wanted to catch a 76ers game just to peep MCW, and Nerlens Noel. Ended up not going since NO ONE I knew wanted to go :lol

I was at a store two Sundays ago and, two older ladies wearing Miami Dolphins jerseys overheard me talking about the football games that day. They were like "Did the Dolphins lose? We left in the 3rd quarter" mind you, I didn't even attend the game and they're asking me who won :lol

They have money or were given tickets, whilst I was updated with the score on my phone. But yea, it's common knowledge most people only go to the games to see one player they're familiar with, or because of free tickets

My mom used to work at the LA Sports Arena (where the Clippers played before Staples Center).
She got us tickets to the Bulls game and I remember we sucked so bad that Jordan just sat out. He wasn't injured; he just decided to sit the game out because we were so trash. That was the day I realized just how pathetic my favorite team was.

A few people at the game last night thought Patty Mills was Tony Parker. :rollin . It wasn't until Patty Mills scored that they found out Parker wasn't playing.

Personally feel like if you're in the NBA, then that's your job. Unless you are legit hurt, you should be out there. As an NBA player you are an entertainer, that's part of your job description. There's people who spend their hard earned money just to see you play, sometimes months in advance. FOH with that soreness or rest BS. As i've said before, this is what you signed up for when you decided to play in the NBA. Hate when Lebron does it, hate when the spurs do it, it's just not cool. But w.e.

If it were only basketball fans like myself, then I wouldn't mind. I'm a guy that actually sits down and watches the Bucks vs 76ers on league pass, but the majority of fans that come to games are casual fans and just because I or you know more about hoops than the casual fan, that doesn't make our experience worth more than theirs.

Went to a Wiz game but Beal wasn't playing that night. :{ Wall played like crap too :x :lol

Beal was hurt though so can't really be mad plus I got my tickets for cheap. :smokin

I think Lebby still likes ball .... as long as it's relatively easy for his team to win.

I'd be pissed too when OKC comes into town and if I paid for tickets in advance to see KD and Russ and play they didn't

Hey, it goes both ways. As a "fan" of a sport or team, isn't it the job of the "fan" to know the role players and stars? Let them keep shortchanging themselves. What if that star player got injured during the first few minutes of a game? When you go into it like "he's going to play, so, I'll buy my tickets", you can't get upset about it because your casual nature doesn't allow you to know the entire roster. Imagine New England Patriot season ticket holders when Brady went down in game one. Went 11-5 and made the playoffs with Cassel. Or, Kurt Warner. I'm a Spurs fan and I vividly remember Stephen Jackson and Speedy Claxton lighting it up for us in the finals. Those guys deserve appreciation too. Without them, Spurs would've lost that finals
