Blatt really is in a tough spot.

Lebby is gonna have to give Blatt a chance. I'm sure he doesn't want the "coach killer" label coupled with all the slander he normally gets, but that's what will happen if/when Blatt gets fired.

Lebbywinks being a bad teammate and leader. Well not much has changed in CLE in 4 years, he's going to be coddled more than ever.

Cavs say LeBron James is expected to be out two weeks with left knee and low back strains.

Welp. Blatt's def gone.

So Lebron's knee HAS been jacked all year.
I knew something was up.
I don't care how low he has jumped on dunks, I knew something was up by his "shuffling" on D or the way he cuts with the ball.
Dude took those long round angles to go around people instead of a sharp hard cut.

Life lessons just cut your exes off. Nothing good ever comes of it.

Gilbert better not Muck this up though.
He needs to let Lebron do as he pleases within reason, that way nobody is to blame except Lebron.
I know, that's stupid from a Basketball decision perspective but he really can't risk it at this point, maybe once Lebron resigns he can, but right now, Lebron should get what he wants no matter how stupid

Lebron is either declining because of age or he trying to screw Blatt but sitting out games hoping the Cavaliers lost alot games

It may be legit injuries but it'll serve his purpose anyway...to sabotage the coach.

Injuries finally catching up with LeBron.

He's missed a few games here and there with a sprained ankle or something but I think this is the first time he's missed an extended amount of games.

Blatt isnt going anywhere if mike brown lasted 5 yrs

This the same **** that happened to spo in 10-11
Spo had Riley & to a lesser extent Wade & Haslem for support.

But the key guy was Riley. Spo was his protege. Spo had been with the Heat since the '90s. If Spo failed, it would reflect poorly on Riles because that was his guy.

Blatt doesn't have anyone like that in Cleveland. And Gilbert hired Brown, fired him after several deep playoff runs, hired him again & fired him again with several years left on the contract. Gilbert doesn't have any loyalty to any coach.

If he wanted to, he could go to Cavs' management right now and ask for Blatt's head on a platter.

They'd likely acquiese to this since he's an impending free agent and they'd want to appease him.

As pointed out in the article, Lebron was under contract in Miami, Cavs have not only him but Love both On 1 year deals, not even close to the same sitch as Spo

When Lebby just plays ball and shuts up he is amazing and his teams are usually really good. When he starts playing coach and GM things don't go as well. Now that I think of it, Mario Chalmers was the real MVP of those Heat teams. Mario served as the resident sounding board for Lebby to yell at and tell what to do which gave Lebby the feeling of being a leader of the team without giving him real control over the team like he has in Cleveland. Giving Lebby more authority is the opposite of what will help. Lebby is like the kid that tests parents and teachers. You give him an inch and he will run over you.
