He's finishing at the rim at a rate that we've haven't seen since his rookie year. He's taking more 3's than ever before. He's not beating people off the bounce like he has been over the past 4 years. All of this is 100% fact backed up by data.
If that doesn't show you that he isn't the best athlete in the league anymore than you are in denial.

I still contend that rose at his best was more athletic than westbrook. I've just seen russ miss way too many dunks over the years. Russ has those elevator ups where he goes up and up and up. Rose got that trampoline bounce how he just catapults into the sky and kind of hovers in orbit.

Russ can jump the same whether it's off of one leg or two. Rose has always been more of a two footed jumper where his best dunks are off a two foot gather.
In terms of change of speed, Rose has the edge.

Pretty much. That two-handed dunk was always Rose's trademark. And Russ is less of a change-of-speed guy than a explode-to-full-speed guy.

Yea, Rose has the edge where he can change direction at high speed, but also probably why he has the injuries. Russ is like 0-60 on a straight away.

This was Melo's year to win the MVP. Dude is a great scorer but a chucker who makes no one around him better. Top 4 seed in the east with his usual 27 & 7 with 48% shooting would've locked it up for him but I guess son isn't good enough.

I'm glad to see Wall coming into his own. There was a time where it was hit or miss. Him and the Wizards are still missing something though, just can't put my finger on it. I like watching them play though.

The Wizards are missing a legit 25-30 a game scorer. It has to be a team effort for us to win because we don't have that feared consistent scorer. Take KD being from DC out of it and look just from a basketball perspective. He would fit perfectly into this team and solve that issue. Beal is only 21 in his 3rd year so he'll get better but not KD better.

What we're missing is a sixth-man, a la Lou Williams, that can create his own shot off the dribble. Can't tell you how many times the starters established a big lead in games only to have the bench give it right back. We have decent bench players (Miller, Butler, Otto, even Seraphin has stepped up this year) but none of them can really create their own shot. Well Andre still can, but if you're relying on a 38 to carry your offense, then you're asking for trouble.
