Knew the game would be close even after the horrible first quarter. Was expecting a loss with a very very close finish.
surprising turnover at the end, we got lucky
i dont even care about the streak, its gonna end in the next game or two regardless but as long as they keep playing hard, push for the playoffs i guess.

Right but Melo didn't return to NY to build through the draft. Melo is 30 and only has maybe 3-4 years of prime level basketball left. He wants to contend for a title now.

Entering today, newest Cavs guard Iman Shumpert ranks 192nd in points per play allowed of 201 players to defend 200+ plays this season
I don't know why people still think Shump is a good defender. He hasn't been that player at all since the ACL tear. Cavs didn't upgrade at all in my opinion. A lateral move at best. And with his best buddy knucklehead JR Smith coming with him, it'll only make that environment more toxic. Knicks the only one that won this trade and they only got a pick
Good points made. Shumpert spreads the floor with the 3 ball and his elite athleticism is scary at times. He plays all out.
Will be interesting to see the LeBron n' Kyrie's relationship develop with J.R.

Augustine ate in the paint simply because he's a threat to drop that dime over to those bigs.
Smith being gone and freeing up all those extra attempts to spread and work inside out, is huge.
