at this stage in jr smith's career, he is who he is. a bad shot taker who can get hot. who knows when that could be. the guy really hasnt been the same since he elbowed jet. even prior to his sixth man season, he was the same inconsistent player. jr and dion are basically the same player. at worst, the cavs an additional piece in iman and not having to play delle at the two

ehh...cavs were far from a finished product on paper coming into the season. Even with Andy, they still lacked rim protection and perimeter defense. Kyrie, Dellavadoja, Dion, MM, Joe Harris would've gotten eaten alive against top talent at the wing positions. Only guys I can see holding their own on defense on the Cavs are Matrix, Bron when he wants to, TT13. Shump and Mozgawwwd were needed. JR/Lebby dynamic is going to be interesting, if JR gets any burn that is. I'm really waiting to see Bron/JR and SwaggyP/Kobe on court.

The thing I will say about Cleveland's moves is I like Shumpert in Cleveland. I feel like in the right situation, he will play harder.
Similar to how Rondo plays harder once there's a big game and he's competing on a nightly basis.
Shumpert on a contender is a nice move. Mozgov for two first rounders? Eh, it is what it is. But I don't like that.

Those teams don't have the best player and 2 other All Stars
JR Smith is a different player on a contender, hes going to carry them one game in the playoffs or late in the season
