“@HPbasketball: OKC’s gotta go 33-13 the rest of the way to hit 50 wins, which still looks like the target. Think of it as: less than four losses per month.”

“@HPbasketball: The thunder can afford 3.25 losses per month. So you basically get a loss per week, and then one week out of the month you gotta sweep”

Thunder will make it. They're 4 games behind Phoenix and they still have to play them 2 more times. Take care of those two games, and all they have to do is make up the 2 game difference over the other 44 games.

It'll be tough, but I'm confident they can get it done.

Not looking good for the Thunder

i think Waiters is gonna curse them, just his presence :x

If Wiz win 3 back to back and Wall sneaks in a triple double, Atlanta is chopped liver for you.

I pray your right. Wizard fan here. I'm not saying ATL will make the Finals but as of today I'd give them the nod as best team with GS a close 2nd. Team > Players.

You definitely aren't talking crazy anymore.
This had become more realistic to me a week ago, and has became even more realistic as of Today.
Thunder is in though, but I was out of line for acting like you were on some crazy talk, no doubt

I mean, I don't give myself too much credit for saying they wouldn't get in. Hell, they still can crack it and I wouldn't be all that surprised if they found a way in. When you have Russ and KD, you can do some extraordinary things.

That being said, I just felt like they would have to be way too good to crack a spot in the west. For one, it wasn't like the Suns, or the Pelicans, or even the Kings who are two back in the W column of OKC, it's not like these teams were going to all of a sudden start loosing. And now, San Antonio is down there fighting for a playoff spot as well which completely throws off the last few spots in the west. Then you have to factor in schedule losses, injuries, fatigue, and all the other little fallacies that come with an NBA season. Not a big deal to an elite team like OKC over 82 games, but in OKC's case, those things are heightened and matter big time. KD and Russ are fantastic, but they aren't invincible and playing in the west is just too hard relative to how good they would have to be to overtake some of these teams. Hell even if they were to get the 8th spot in the next week or two, it's still not a done deal that they keep it. Just the nature of playing that far down in the playoff picture as the season goes along.

Yea I hear you shoeking.
Last thing I do is give somebody a hard time about something and then act like I never did or said **** when things are going the opposite of what I thought would happen.
Fact is, they may very well miss, and me acting like you saying such was way off base, was off base.
Atleast at this point anyway, which is far enough along for me to realize you are closer to right than I was. Or something like that.

as of today, the Suns are on track for 46 wins as the 8th seed, so OKC still has a great chance. i still think they make it.

side note: GSW on track for 69 wins

The problem for the Thunder is that they need to BUST you-know-what the rest of the way. There's literally no margin for error. Then, they have to go on the road literally every series. That is a tall order. They thrive on that home court advantage.

this is kinda random but does anyone know a site that shows the all time nba scoring list past 100 players? looking for like the 500-600 range haha. trying to show a friend that beno udrih is in that range. they showed it on espn a few weeks ago but i cant find a site anywhere that goes past either top 50 or 100
