Stein is on Vernon's show right now and he thinks IF MIA would do a deal, it would require KK, Tayshaun and a 1st round pick to get Deng.
Says you have to use Tay's salary to make it work.
Says BOS is gonna want a 1st round pick as well.
Says KK has big value around the league except that he is an FA at the end of the season and that is scary cause he could walk from whatever team trades for him.
Says that nobody wants to take on multiple year contracts so Q's contract is really hard to move.
Stein thinks that Tay + KK+ 1 round pick for Deng and maybe another player to make the money right would be a win win for both teams but he knows that MIA loves Deng. He just thinks that MIA has to start replenishing their roster/assets as this year is slipping away from them, so they might not WANT to let go of Deng, but might just have to do it to start getting some picks and young players like KK.
