Kobe's game this year has been selfish, inefficient and very harmful to the team BUT it's amazing. This takes an incredible amount of skill and for him to do this after the injury, at his age, is crazy. This is age defying stuff. The fact that he has it in him to bring it consistently + play heavy minutes + "carry" the offense. He's no doubt only worried about scoring but most guys his age couldn't do this if they tried. In terms of pure basketball skill, this is crazy impressive.

Scott Unable To Reach Nash Despite Lakers' Hope For Mentorship Role
Steve Nash has been out of sight around the Los Angeles Lakers since being ruled out for the entire season.
Byron Scott and Mitch Kupchak said they hoped Nash would serve as a mentor and de facto shooting coach for younger players.
That scenario has yet to take place, and Scott said he cannot even get Nash to return a phone call.
“If my coach would have called me,” Scott said, “I definitely would have called him back.”
Scott tried to downplay that as any kind of issue, saying he was “not angry at all.”
“I’ll try him again when I get some more free time tomorrow or Monday or something like that. I know he’s probably going through a tough time as far as trying to adjust to life without basketball at this particular point.”
Asked if he expected Nash to be around at all this season, Scott said, “I don’t know. I would like him to, but I don’t know.”
