Wait, Whiteside thinks he is some big threat on the offensive end?

I mean, he kinda is though.

He was one of the best post up offense players in the league when he got the opportunity.

51 FG% which is good for 4th best in the league.

scored 46% of the time and had the highest percentage of And 1's in the league.

Only guys that were better than him were Jonas, Marc Gasol, LMA, Love, Dirk and Blake.

Pretty good list to me.

Not to mention he was the second best pick and roll man behind Tyson Chandler.

6th best scorer on offensive rebounds.

He's dominant on both ends and will only get better as long as he can stay out his own way.

Top 10 Chalmers, Winslow and Healthy McBob is a very good second unit.

The kid Johnson was definitely showing signs last year as well.

forgot they picked up Gerald & STAT

they should be a top 4 seed if everyone stays relatively healthy

Big if with Wade, McBob and Amare on the squad.

They got a really nice squad on paper though.

Has McBob had consistent injury problems throughout his career? I don't recall him missing all that much time when he was a Laker or a Bobcat . . . but I wasn't paying that close attention either.

But yeah, if Wade and Bosh can play in the majority of the Heat's games this season and everyone else is normally healthy, they're easily the 2nd best team in the East to me.

miami, chicago and cleveland are the only teams in the east that matter

i think atl is gonna take a step back this season

Welp

The Miami Heat remain willing to trade away Chris Andersen to help alleviate their luxury tax bill.

Andersen is due approximately $5 million and the Heat haven't found much of a market for a trade.

The Heat, however, are expected to bring Mario Chalmers to training camp even though they haven't ruled out a trade.

BARRY JACKSON/MIAMI HERALD

Also, Jordan Clarkson finna play for the Philippines. Good stuff

Interested to see if there is a further decline with Bron especially after the all the mileage he put on his body this past postseason run.

Son was the whole team for a handful of games.
