The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games Thread 🔥🥇🥈🥉

what channels are you guys watching? i havent been watching the peacock app yet.

so usa, olympic channel, nbcsn and cbet so far. any other i'm missing? which gets the biggest competitions

For live coverage I'm watching on CBC (Canada) but it's also accessible worldwide for international viewers on their website CBCSports.ca. So for anyone that wants to watch everything live but not liking NBC's stuff, CBC is the best option. In the evening I come back and watch NBC's primetime coverage just to see how races are called, and maybe record stuff.

From Day 1 of swimming yesterday I can say CBC's live coverage is a good 30-50 seconds ahead of NBC's live coverage.

so with all the new sports added, with they be fringe moving forward? depending on the conditions of the next location? There wont be any surfing in paris.

And softball, which returned this year in Tokyo after being absent the past 2 Olympics, won't be at the next games in Paris.

IATT IATT Is Yohan Blake the favorite for the 100m & 200m?

Heck no. Yohan Blake now hasn't been nowhere NEAR the athlete that looked like the heir to Usain Bolt's throne from 2009-2012. He suffered 2 devastating injuries in 2013 and 2014 and hasn't been the same guy since. He has a chance to MAYBE make both finals but he's not getting a medal. I don't even think Jamaica's Men's team will make the 4x100 relay final.

The Men's 100 is wide open this year but the 3 favourites are Trayvon Bromell (USA), Akine Simbine (South Africa) and Andre DeGrasse (Canada). Bromell has the fastest time this year (9.77) and has only lost 1 race this season. Simbine just ran a personal best a few weeks ago (9.84) and looks like he's ready to go faster. DeGrasse appears to be peaking at the time right and back into Rio 2016 form.

The Men's 200 is pretty much a battle between 3 Americans (lead by Noah Lyles) and 1 Canadian (Andre DeGrasse) for the medals.

That was dope. She worked her. I do remember 2008 though, when the USA women's squad swept the individual sabre. That was wild. They won all three medals. That is just never going to happen again, for any country.

If yall catching the Olympics just to see some yam action, something wrong with yall for real.

triple h.gif

Aint nothing wrong with yams if its during a sport you actually watching, what im saying is you fiends who realize beach volleyball is on and you change the channel while your other hand goes down your pants.

Broski, are you for real right now?

Dudes is in here watching the Olympics AND appreciating attractive females that we normally wouldn't see otherwise.

I haven't seen anyone be disrespectful or condescending towards any female athlete yet.

Beach volleyball would be the only wholesome thing i beat off to, so such behaviour should be encouraged.

Update: I do not understand fencing at all.

im still trying understand what the American girl in the 49kg weight class did wrong in the snatch in weightlifting

they had a challenge and everything

Xennial Xennial great Britain going need a lot more than 53.8 if they wanna challenge the us men in that medley relay

peaty will make up the difference but then they’re back in a hole when dressel opens up his second and change on the fly leg

I have to agree. "Scouting" fresh faces is as much a part of the Olympics as watching who wins Gold, Silver, and Bronze for me.

With that said, if I was a basketball player, I'm trying to holla at one of the volleyball ladies. Jordan Thompson for the US for example is 6'4 and only 24. :wow:

If you want a foreign woman, this Elina Rodriguez for Argentina (6'2) may be a nice option.

If I find pics of them in "normal wear", I'll post them up.
We talk about it every olympics but the nba players feast the most at this international yambz buffet. I know some of the pro footballers wish they could do the olympics too.

Nothing wrong with watching women's beach volleyball and getting a semi or full chub.

if you dont have peacock, the nbc sports app has it for free in their live olympic channels
