At first I had UCLA Final 4 bound. I have changed that and have chosen them to win the entire damn tourney now. Its gonna happen people!

So question...

Do any of you go through the detailed stats like Pomeroy, Raymond, Sagarin, etc? I was looking at them but also came to the realization that there is no way I could understand it at all :lol

More the matchups pages between two teams is what I use. Strictly Pomeroy for me, and you can certainly make yourself crazy trying to go through that stuff....

Glad Iowa loss. Most disappointing team of the year for me. Tenn on the other hand could make a nice little run. They should be able to handle Umass, and then have a good chance to beat Duke with Stokes/Maymon inside.

Looked at BBState to look at possessions, free throw rate off/def, 3 point percentages off/def, turnovers and some specific performances.

Am I the only one that has Cuse over Kansas?

No, that was my pick as well. Kansas really struggles against the zone and halfcourt pressure. I would give them a better shot with Embid, but without him they don't have anyone to feed the ball into down low and get into the middle of the zone. Syracuse has had their troubles, but I just don't see this as a favourable matchup for Kansas. Kansas's guard play has been questionable and they don't have many knock down shooters

On another note, what is everyone's pick for the best game "on paper" tomorrow?

I think I'm most intrigued by Harvard v. Cincinnati (outside of the Pitt game, of course). I think NC State knocks off St. Louis as well - TJ Warren is too nice.

I have been going back and forth on this game and can't decide

Any thoughts?

Rick Pitno complaining about the selection committee matching them up with Manhattan :lol .. granted, Manhattan probably knows Louisville in and out because Masiello has been around Pitno for years, but to say "I don't think they would put somewhere down the road Duke-North Carolina so ... the matchups don't make sense to me" is a little extreme. He compared one of the greatest in-state/conference rivalries to Louisville vs Manhattan :lol .. I could understand his point if they opened up with Kentucky.

Nope. Even as a KU fan this is what I have...

Teams have been zoning KU all year...but nothing is like Syracuse's zone. KU doesn't shoot the ball well...that'll be trouble.

Only positive thing I can see (other than Embiid being back) would be Perry Ellis in the middle of the zone...has a nice midrange game.

When the Winter Olympics were on, they cut the website feed off after a couple of days...here's hoping that everything is back to normal for this afternoon :lol

Anybody got a link to the feed/stream?

I'm bout to have that @#$% up on my laptop screen with my "work" posted on my flat screen. Body is so ready.

This isn't my logic behind why I picked Arizona to lose..but they are the weakest of the one seeds, and some of y'all thinking Virginia is going to lose to coastal Carolina (I don't see it happening) but Arizona is too good defensively to lose in opening round? Virginia is a better defensive team than Arizona
Virginia I think is good until they play Mich. St
