Isn't that partly due to UK not having a lot of floor spacers? And how much of that is due to what he's asked to do?
Fox is special.![]()

Calipari is still imploring Monk to drive to the basket because, frankly, he can get there almost whenever he wants. He has a rare combination of skill and athleticism where he can drill 3s and also get what he wants when he drives to the hoop.
But NBA executives are torn on Monk.
Some say he's a lock to go in the upper half of the NBA lottery. One even recently told me he'd select Monk with the No. 1 overall pick. But others are concerned about a 2-guard who is 6 feet 3, and they say he'll go in the bottom portion of the lottery because of his lack of size.
I'd be all for the Celts drafting him if we didn't already have a PG that can't shoot. Fox does everything else very well. He's a gamer.Fox is that dude, kid is awesome.
Monks averaging almost 22 a game, on 58/42/82%. In less than 30 mins a game. Not too shabby for a "low IQ" player that settles for contested low percentage shots.![]()
What's defined as a low percentage shot depends on who's shooting them. Monk is not forcing bad shots and getting lucky. He picks his spots, and shoots shots that he can hit. And he's been hitting them, every game, consistently.
Now, would I like him to drive more? Absolutely. But to act like he can't create good shots for himself is nonsense. He's been doing it all season.
Happens every season but always weird to see draft talk in December , everything gonna be different in a couple months but we never learnLet's keep the NBA talk out of here please!
Ready to see Giles play
