He got drafted. More than what would’ve happened had he played for ya man.
In all honesty he had poor workouts and didn’t interview well. Is what it is. Should’ve went back and collected NIL money and entered in the weaker draft

Duke was close to getting Shaheen Holloway the year before.
Coach K was dealing with a death in the family, so when people were telling him about Baron Davis he didn't care.
Steve Smith (from Oak Hill) told coach K if he didn't take Avery as he promised he would never send another kid to Duke.
