The College Basketball Post

So Isaiah Whitehead committed to Seton Hall to be with Tiny, this is really crazy to me. Had SJU, Kansas, Indiana, and Pittsburgh offers

I'm confused
He want that limelight, can't blame him. We're already too stacked at IU, wish the dude the best of luck

St john's made too much sense Under armour + Steve Lavin personality

That Jordan & Whitehead backcourt would of been crazy

Isaiah Whitehead is going to do his thing at Seton Hall as long as there no hating teammate's AKA Ty shine :{ :lol

How many times do you think SHU is making it to the big dance in his 4 years there? Score 30 points on a losing team or score 10 points on a winning with HOF coach? It's and give and take

Considering the goal is the NEXT Level... I'd take the 30. Sorry.

Wayyyy more kids that scored less at KU or UK got drafted compared to the kid who dropped 30 and their school didn't even get a televised game. But hey who knows Isaiah may put SHU on the map. IMO he has a better chance of making it to the A with a different college choice than he made.

What kids do you know of that are "scorers" and averaged 10 points at a powerhouse and made it to the league?

Besides there is only 1 HoF in the mix compared to that list of schools up there. Personally i would've went to Kansas followed by IU. But if its SJU v SHU it really doesn't matter... It's like being the tallest ******... YOU'RE STILL A ******G ******.

But if you're scoring big consistently for a team in a Big 6 conferences, they're going to find you and you're name will be spoken throughout the country. Hell these days if you play for a mid major and you're getting 30 or putting up big numbers they're going to find you.

The NBA really can care less about numbers or even stature on a team one way or another. And did we just call Tom Crean a HOF'r?

Willard got desperate, man. Can't say I blame him. He can coach, just couldn't recruit. Whitehead should get better there, he needs to be refined big time.

:lol @ we are too stacked, Abell left, Vic left, Sheehey out after next year. We are thin at SG, we def. needed him. Better hope Booker goes to UK and Blackmon comes back to us cause we are very thin.

I didn't personally think SJU was a great fit for him with all the guard we have right now so I'm not even tight. Delgado, him and a couple others will be a nice class, good to see them building something there. Ultimately, big time kids are still staying in the Big East which is really important in the long run, especially local kids.

On a city level, I wonder if this is the end of the Lincoln era now that Tiny is gone.

Robert Johnson is going to be a really good college guard but I'm not sure how much IU trails UNC and UVA.

i was trying to wrap my head around that one as well. next year we will not be stacked. a player like whitehead is really needed for next year.

Woulda loved to see that up n down game with Whitehead and Aquille Carr up at SHU :x ...Whitehead wants the buckets and attention, plus he staying local..cant really blame him for his choice

Abell wasn't that good, Vic is indeed out and Sheehey is gone after this year. But what do you mean? We literally just signed two 4 star recruits that can play the wing... if it's one thing Crean is good at doing, its recruiting the 2 guard (Novak, Wade, Vic, ) . I'm not too worried about this position whatsoever. Not to forget we still have Hollowell, who I think has A LOT of potential, Hartmans coming in this year too (my former teammate).

We have other backcourt players on the radar for the 2014 class as well. I ain't eem worried, Crean can recruit man

We're really young mane, I hope Trey Lyles commits but I bet he goes to UNC, UK, or Duke unfortunately

Whitehead wanted to go to SU for a while.

SU took Kaleb Joseph and didn't want to deal with Whitehead's baggage. Now Whitehead going to be at a program where they will be lucky to win 17 games and not be in the spotlight of D1 basketball.

Class of 2014 Benedictine (Va.) guard Robert Johnson has committed to Indiana

least we got somebody :hat

Rock solid 4 year guy, really shoots it well. honestly would rather have him for that than dealing with Whitehead thinking he's one and done. He's probably same level of player as Blackmon.

now that we got him, i honestly could care less if blackmon comes or not. Agreed on him being the same level player tho.

Lyles to make some sort of announcement today, but not who is is choosing so I guess it's an announcement about his announcement....

just read somewhere cliff alexander cut kentucky and added uconn, oregon to his list...not sure if this is old news
