Not really, can't see them cracking the top 5 in the ACC. 6th or 7th wpuld be a good finish. Mike Young will be really good but not much high end talent on that roster. (And Mostella was a non qualifier)
There's talent at the guard spots, but not having either Khem Birch or Steven Adams is killing them. Zanna will probably have to play the 5. They will get killed on the glass against big teams.

Stubhub Tickets starting at 150 for nose bleeds, although almost every seat in the UC is a good one.

That's not too bad,I'm used these crazy *** UK ticket prices dudes pay that price for upper arena Madness tickets when they were free to begin with :{ single game regular season tickets are 42$ for nose bleeds if your lucky enough to snatch them straight from ticketmaster or the box office...

Package starts @ 380.00 + tax for nosebleeds :{

Tickets for this Cuse - Duke game is insane.

Going to put the court in the center of the dome, expected a sellout crowd of 55k+

NCAA denies hardship waiver after player's 3-year career with Oregon State

Illinois hoped Ahmad Starks would bring experience and some added depth at guard.

Those hopes will have to wait until next season.

Starks, a transfer from Oregon State who graduated from Whitney Young, was denied a hardship waiver by the NCAA subcommittee for legislative relief.

He will have one season of eligibility remaining with the Illini in 2014-15.

Illinois had requested a hardship waiver for Starks, who had stated he wanted to be closer to his ailing grandmother.

“We are all disappointed with the decision to deny the waiver and especially feel bad for Ahmad and his family,” Illinois head coach John Groce said in a statement. “Ahmad had a compelling case, returning to his home state to be closer to an ailing grandmother who played an instrumental role in raising him. However, we now have to move forward. Ahmad will focus on preparing our team in practice while also making individual improvement, fueled by the goal of returning to the court in 2014-15.”

Starks helped Young win the IHSA Class 4A state title in 2009.

Maybe I'm crazy but I always thought a year off would be what I'd want if I had an ailing family member.

Waiver stuff is a joke though.
