Drew Harrison for POY just to be different.

Everyone else is picking Wiggins or Bari. Or Randle.

Seems anything short of a championship is dissatisfying for Wiggins, which is unfair. Kansas should make a deep run, but they aren't my pick to win the NC.

Kansas has more than enough talent to win the National Championship the question is will they be cohesive enough to beat the more veteran squads like Michigan St/Louisville. I wouldn't bet against them though, especially since they have the best player in the country in my opinion and Bill Self can coach.

Who is tabbing Kansas as the clear cut NC contender? If anything, it's championship or bust for Kentucky then it's everyone else mixed in.

Kansas this year reminds me of Texas in '06 with KD, DJ, and a mix of talent sprinkled in. Elite but young talent with no real pressure to make noise in the tourney.

Jahii Carson POY, uoeno itttttt

Also Devin Robinson cancelled his UCONN visit..not getting my hopes up after Oknoboh but its def. a good sign for us.

A couple different people who have watched practices have noted that Selden has been the more impressive player compared to Wiggins. I'm not to worried about the kid. As long he can turn that switch on and off when it counts that's all that matters to me. If he decides to get that 'dog' mentality say around March and April and we end up in Dallas I am quite alright with that.

As a Kansas fan I'm more concerned about getting a rotation down and who is going to be our PG. I want to be believe in Tharpe, because of his experience but there is something about Frank Mason that just makes me think that he is going to push hard for Tharpe's minutes.

how can you buy into Tharpe. i caught a couple KU last year, the kid was stealing money from the university. pure buns, maybe the light came on this summer.

We had this discussion last year but I liked what I saw from Tharpe...He's not an AA by any standard but I thought he showed flashes of being pretty good. He can penetrate and kick pretty well, I think he'll have a good year.

Honestly, Tharpe had his good and bad moments last year. When we had success it was when we moved EJ off the ball and let Tharpe run the show. He certainly played much better toward the end of the year but the problem with Tharpe has always been inconsistent play. Self has always shown that he will ride with an upperclassmen so this will be Tharpe's team to begin with and probably will be throughout unless he does something drastic to change Self's mind. With as much talent as we have on this team (at least on paper) I just want him to play defense, distribute and most importantly TAKE CARE OF THE BALL.

Bazz isn't even the best PG on his team tho, c'mon.

Tickets for the Duke games in MSG went on sale today . I just paid for the Arizona vs Duke game . I don't know if I will attend the Duke vs UCLA game , that could be a beatdown .

Excited to see Kentucky's duo in the middle of WCS and Dakari Johnson

:smokin Random fact,Johnson is the first player at UK since Cal has been here to be officially listed as a Center.. Cousins,Davis, etc... have all been listed on the official roster as forwards...
