The Dallas Cowboys ... vol. Wrap This Thing Up, Who To Draft?

I actually think Dez is a much better WR than Miles.. And would much rather him be the second option in the passing game (Witten will always be #1 as long as Garrett and Romo are there.)

Dez is more of a freak of nature randy moss type WR , makes them plays that not many can.

Austin is the perfect guy for this offense.

Dude aint been in many "clutch" spots in his carrier.

dudes just dont know the game , and spew garbage.

today was a good day.

Well Boys fans, today we got lucky in a game that shouldn't have even been that hard. It feels good to be 6-4, I hope the Eagles can pull it out so we can tie with the Giants...

So Demarco Murray needs 326 yards to be the first 1000 yard back for the Cowboys since 2006 (Julius Jones).. Before that Emmitt Smith (1991-2001)...

And he didn't even hit 100 yards until 10/23..

Sigh hopefully Demarco Murray will be the change of our mediocrity at Running Back since Emmitt left..

Well to be fair C.J. was not a clear cut better choice over Felix Jones

SMH at Julius Jones + Marcus Spears next year over SJax...

This was a good win

romo ,witten, dez was clutch down the stretch.......

hell even bennet showed up today .... I was shocked though , that we won . I hope this a sign of things to come...

lets beat the dolphins , and handle biz and go 8-4 to Dec.

Dude is a beast. Might even have a better career than SJAX dude broke Emmitt's single game rushing record in his DEBUT (I don't give a damn that it was against STL, don't give a DIZAMN)

Good win.. Didn't wanna see us in overtime. But Clutch.

Playing the Phins.. I see a good game...

Dez

my fav player... Got his away/ thanksgiving jersey.. Happy Xmas To me.

Sneakerheathen I've been watching too much football in my life.. Seen a player in any position (especially skills positions) have a monster year to start.. Then come back and play entirely mediocre for the rest of their career.... And as a Cowboys fan I'm used to saying big potential fall flat on their face..\

So hopefully is justified... IMO

btw This Title of this thread needs to change.. Our Work Isn't Over, Not Nearly enough to be looking forward to the draft.

With this coaching staff , as long as garret does not stay to pass happy i think we are building for a bright future.

we have the mix of youth and in their prime guys...

This!
Wouldn't mind seeing Free at RT, dude's been struggling this year...

Smith is doing just fine, worth the Top 10 pick.

He's been quiet but in a good way. Romo is getting the ball off, Murray is running his blocks off. Yeah he's doing well. If he isn't getting false starts every series like our past OL then he's doing swell.

Well, all I can say is that it's tough being a Dallas Cowboys fan. I can't wait until my boss shows up and chuckles as he screams "how do you ice your own kicker."

Although I hate Jason Garrett with a passion, I am not going to give him 100% of the blame for that debacle of an ending. Tony Romo had no intention of calling a timeout. He absolutely 100% ran up to the line signaling spike, spike, spike. Given the fact that just two weeks prior he signaled for a timeout when he shouldn't have, leads me to believe that he gets the squirts in crunch time. Luckily, Shannahan bailed him out in the previous circumstance.

We are a team that could be playing for a division title, but instead will fall from playoff graces next week. And why should I be surprised? This team has shown nothing in the clutch department when it has counted since Garrett and Romo have come to town. Respected head football coaches can will their teams to victory. Respected professional football quarterbacks can will their teams to victory. We don't have either one, and until that changes, this franchise will bask in the warmth of mediocrity.

That's not Romo's job. If his HC tells him to spike the ball and he calls a time out best believe he's gonna be getting chewed for the next 2 minutes. You can't just go against what your HC wants you to do. Someone called in on the Ticket last night trying to say the exact same thing. Norm had to explain to him that, that is NOT Romo's job which it isnt. Garrett is completely to blame on this.

The thing during Washington is the only time when Romo is in "control" because  you have to make the deciision to not get a delay of game penalty prior to the snap so that one was on Romo.

I noticed the Cowboys seem to be soft no the road for whatever reason. 1-4... they are 6-1 at home. Giants will be tough being that they lost 4 in a row but i think we can win
