'Big Baller Brand' might've been acceptable in the late '90s or early '00s. Lavar still stuck in that era.

Ball kids don't have to sign with Nike but they can check Adidas, etc...

The NCAA doesn’t care about optics and public opinion, but it would be a good look for them if they made a one time exception and allowed those who played in the JBL to be eligible. I doubt many of those guys who went the JBL route were top prospects, but I’m sure they were decent enough to make some type of NCAA roster, division 1, 2, or 3.
