Off all the ways he can get DNA/draw blood he just happens to choose stabbing the man through the nose with a needle? To keep them from using Turtle or his powers against Zoom?


It could be misdirection though considering the last part of his speech

It's a slight distinction. I think he was trying to get DNA to use his powers either on Zoom or Barry but it's up in the air if it killed him or not.

So I assume Barry smashed given the fact that he and Patty were spending nights together.

He took a Fitz-ian type L with her leaving right when he was about to tell her the truth though.

I wonder if this opens the door for the Barry/Iris dynamic to reemerge again?

Barry and Iris honestly seems tired now. The writers did not handle it well with how she turned him down and then when he thought he had a chance cuz of what happened that one time before he changed the past and she shut him down even harder.

She comes off like a ***** to me now when it has anything to do with Barry's love life. She was giving that struggle advice to Patty like she was still jealous back when Barry was dating her co-worker.

Now it's just awkward that he confessed his love and got played and her fiance killed himself.
