Maybe Zoom represents Jay's junkie for speed manifestation into a speed demon?

Makes some sense if you connect a few dots. Just off the comics with Hunter Zolomon being Professor Zoom and on the show Earth-2 Flash doppleganger on Earth-1 is Hunter Zolomon.

Then story wise, we know Jay lost his speed not from Zoom but because he wanted to be even faster so he created a speed drug to make himself faster until it severed his connection with the speed force completely and is now killing him. Compare that with Zoom who just showed up, dominates Jay, Jay is scared to death of him, and what does Zoom want? To be even faster. So much so he wants to steal the speed of other speedsters even ones from other Earths.

Plus Jay been a bit shady not telling the guys everything about Earth-2 and how he really lost his powers. Lying about Zoom. Dude in the mask basically been saying Jay is Zoom. Dude in the mask could be another part of Jay for all we know.

Quite possible could be that the speed force, velocity #w/e, and maybe one other thing created Zoom while slowly taking Jay's speed as the Flash.

Then the final scene in this ep could be a fake out. Jay's not dead. It's just his other half reclaiming him especially now that he has some speed back. I can see it still falling back on Wells though since this is in the end all his fault.

Anyway, I get the feeling by the end of this Earth-2 Wells and his daughter are gonna find a way to stay on Earth-1 or he'll manage to be the Wells of both Earths. Worst case scenario, I just hope they don't destroy Earth-2 just to do it

On another note, Jay being Flash on Earth-1 has been a bit reckless. His face damn near everywhere Isn't he totally screwing over Hunter Zolomon? or at least gonna make him suspicious?

- The masked prisoner = real Jay Garrick?

- Jay Garrick we see now = Earth 1 Hunter Zolomon (Zoom) (but then who was the dude he showed Caitlin?)

I'm pretty confident that the man sitting on the bench was really Jay Garrick and the man we have all been lead to believe is Jay (Pseudo-Jay) is really Hunter Zoloman. The reason I feel so strongly about this is due to the fact that there is a lot of evidence which points to this possibility. For starters we have never seen Pseudo-Jay and Zoom in the same place at the same time, a fact which was artfully concealed by showing it to be true through the eyes of Pseudo-Jay as he recalled the battles he claims to have had with Zoom. It is this blurring of facts which got me thinking, Zoom has been planning to steal the speed force from speedsters since he kidnapped Dr. Well's daughter.

This means that although the vortex may have been a lucky break, Zoom's choice to attack Earth Prime was not a compulsive response to a new opportunity, it was the adaptation of an existing plan to a similar situation. So now Zoom is on Earth Prime and quickly finds out there is another speedster, the first thing he'd do is to track this guy down and find out everything he can, and what better way then to pose as the hero speedster from another earth? This would be perfect except Caitlin would surely have found out he was a speedster when she ran his blood, right? Well yes, but only if Zoom IS a speedster like all the others, however we have no indication to believe it is true. In fact if he is anything like his comic book counterpart then we know this is not the case. It is possible then that Zoom only has the power to absorb the speed-force from others but does not posses any means of tapping into it directly, which if true means a side-effect of this power could be the continued need to absorb speed-force in order to maintain a balance. This difference in Zoom's power could account for Pseudo-Jay's "illness" and why it is the speed-force which can cure him.

So now if Pseudo-Jay is Hunter Zoloman then that means the man sitting on the bench is either Jay Garrick from Earth Prime and doesn't yet have his powers OR it is Jay Garrick from Earth Two in which Zoom stole his power leaving him trapped on Earth Prime with no means of tracking down The Flash...

Makes no sense logistically. You telling me while he was resting he was actually back on Earth-2? Beating the **** out of Barry? Then earlier went back to Earth-1 saves the ppl from the building? So the portal was never broken? or he has another one undetected still open? This whole time he was going back and forth between Earths? Madness.

Yall do know Jay's original story was the Hunter Zolomon of Earth-1 is him but he was adopted so his name isn't Jay Garrick but w/e the ppl who adopted him are. I don't see why Jay from Earth-2 has to actually be Hunter Zolomon from Earth-2. Makes no sense to bring in another name. Plus it doesn't explain why Snow couldn't find Jay's doppleganger. So that story has to be true; Earth-1 Jay is Hunter Zolomon. There's no reason to change the names at the least.

I just can't see the show making any sense of that story telling wise.

barry been taking Ls all season but somehow beta non superhero barry has iris wanting to smash every chance she gets 

star labs security is non existent every other episode some bad guy just walks in the room 

killer frost attacks looked like tiny snow balls, must have run out of money

when she was freezing zoom, everyone ran away guns in hand rather than blasting him off the map

The actor is most likely never coming back. It was said he left for personal reasons but ended up on 2 different shows shortly after. Slim chances he ever returns unless this is a long game and Eddie is Zoom.

I thought they found the Jay from Earth 1 already in one of the previous episodes? He can't be from Earth 1. 

Only issue I had with the last episode was the Barry 2 motivational speech to Barry 1. Like, oh now you can phase through the glass cause Barry 2 said believe in yourself? 

Good episode though. I see we're back to filler episodes next week lol
