So, Stillin and IAT, I assume you are with me on the #AllYouNeedIsQuarterback campaign, yes?

Do I have your support?

Before wentz (2016) and after mcnabb (2008) our QBs were: Kevin kolb, Michael Vick, Vince young, nick foles, mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and Sam Bradford

I've never been in the 'all you need is a quarterback' camp, but it sure as shht don't hurt

Yet you come to me with trivial things such as receivers, and lineman and cornerbacks.

Quarterbacks need not these things.

Right? (It's ok, no one's reading this, you can say it....)

A football team needs players.. having talented ones is going to impact the success of that team, more of them helps

Having them available (injuries, suspensions and/or whatever else) also helps, greatly

I'll take that as a yes.

Welcome to the revolution. :D

So groundbreaking to think that you need a good team to win :lol

Have I ever said something along the lines that you only need a QB to win?

I doubt anyone has but that's a narrative that ran and became a thing

From the week 3 in review thread:

http://niketalk.com/t/654090/nfl-we...a-the-carson-wentz-thread/20_20#post_26603908

ON EAGLES:
if lane loses his appeal and has to sit for 10 games.. that will be a big blow for us

I knew our front 4 would be good on defense, but I had no clue they would be this good.. they might be able to save our secondary and give us a chance vs the better teams on our schedule.. because really some of the better teams on our schedule are going through OLine issues (seahawks, Vikings and packers)

Yup :rolleyes

Not trying to go in cricles again but QB worship has been around since the inception of the league, that's why they get the fattest contracts and most of the endorsements. On that same note,I can't remember anyone ever discounting the need for other good non-qb players to win it all :lol, that's obvious/rudimentary

I miss all the tweet gravedigging from the first three weeks showing people who did not think Carson Wentz was #1 pick worthy.

Actually the tweets said he wasn't worthy of even being taken in the top half of the draft..

Again, the bar was set extremely low

yes you need a team, I never said you didn't, I said a franchise QB gives you a chance every year

thinking Tannehiil was not the guy after 4 years is not relevant to my thoughts of needing help, Tannehill gets props this year but Tannehiill having support doesn't equate to me thinking he is the long term answer in Miami

Wentz actually does have a good team though. Very good O-line and good RB depth, just the WRs suck. You don't get everything as a QB in this league.

But he's also just a rookie that's developing, so...

LMAOOOO, no one was ever on here arguing that he was #1 pick worthy.  Dudes literally making **** up now.  Them gravedigs really had some of you upset I see.

Very good O-line

When everyone is healthy and not suspended, this is true..

But last night we played with our 3rd string right tackle.. and 2 backup guards, one of which is a 3rd round rookie

2nd string right tackle is a 5th round rookie, who got hurt

I am not even going back and forth anymore, I think Wentz is the real deal, if he hasn't progressed a couple years from now than I was wrong and we are back to square one

that is my take

the depth may be good.

but the backs are average to below average.

I'm gonna need the Cowboys and Chargers to win this week. Thanks ahead of time from the Washington fanbase.
