I disagree. I think Kirk is good but I wouldn't give him franchise money. He's not winning you games or losing you games. He's just putting up yards and no TDs. They talked about it on NFLN today too. GMs want to be right and find their guy and overpay. Would be crazy to give Kirk 120, especially with that line and WRs.

I'm not crazy about how much he'll cost but when you've been QB searching forever and finally found a guy who at least stays healthy for two straight seasons, you gotta keep him around.

Put him behind your O line with those WRs, he's putting up the same numbers. Bomani said it best. You're amazed by these Kirk numbers and then you watch a full game and see how he gets these stats and it's not impressive at all.

But would you invest that much on a guy that's not taking you to the SB? I think he's good but I think a lot of QBs can be good in that offense. I think teams are too quick to pay these QBs. They're too desperate. They want to look like they found their guy and they discovered him. These QBs get these huge deals and haven't accomplished ****. Cutler and Dalton. Kirk hasn't accomplished **** either but puts up passing yards.
