Eagles Twitter doing a great job.. Some folks on NT had some pretty strong opinions though...

[emoji]9995[/emoji] I'll admit. I didn't think highly of wentz. But things change.

He's impressive, throws a pretty rock, poised against the blitz. I like him alot actually...good pick

too many people got hung up on the D2 non sense, if you have talent you have talent

most comments come from folks who didn't bother to even watch his tapes, highlights, etc.

"he went to NDSU, he's got bust written all over him"

NDSU's program is run really well.

They beat a good Iowa team last week iirc.

Aaron Rodgers only completing 23% of his passes while under pressure, worst in the league so far.

Cutler suffered a torn ligament in his throwing hand in Week 1 vs Texans

Played with it for week 2, and well you know the rest.

He'll be out for the foreseeable future.

As a Bears fan, we ******* suck. From top to bottom smh...

Here's the part that's frustrating...all the Skins need is for Cousins to be average and they'll have a great chance at winning. Too many playmakers on offense to be absolutely handcuffed by Cousins 85% of the time and Gruden/McVay for the other 15%.

Sunday's game was beyond aggravating. Probably took every ounce of self-control for guys like DJax, Garcon, Reed, etc. to NOT put hands on Kirk after his performance.

Dude has to get himself together.

we have 0 run game. We are asking our terribly mediocre QB to all of a sudden be great. It ain't happening. I don't know how no one saw letting Morris go as a huge deal.

If you want a pass happy offense...get a QB who can do that for us. It aini't Cousins. If you want a game manager who can keep you in a game and hope our defense gets stops...maybe we can survive if you keep the offense simple. He is great at check downs :lol

how the hell did the Bears get even one primetime game, much less have back to back weeks.

No idea man, These guys are turrible.. At least be garbage and entertaining.. They are neither

ESPN's scheduling of MNF football matchups has been crap for about the past 8 years -- and that's without exaggeration.

I've often wondered if they are doing it on purpose.

SNF is clearly the marquee night but ti's like ESPN doesn't even want MNF to be an attraction at all.
For a while now NBC been gettin 1st pick of the prime time games , that's why MNF sucks and thurs night usually even worse

I gotta respect Cutler. Made over 100 million dollars and doesn't give a **** about football. Just out there because it's his job. How many years he got left in Chicago?
Yea when u think about it like this can't be too mad at him ...most ppl just work cuz they have to n don't care about their jobs really , Cutler is the same just getting M's

Somebody said on Twitter that Cutler looks like he don't know his kids birthdays. :lol :lol

'9-5-er'

he aint getting profit sharing, so don't care about profits.. definitely aint part of ownership, so aint personally invested.. and overtime aint worth it, cause he content with his current salary

doing just enough to stay employed.. and ya cant be mad at that.. unless of course you're a bears fan

That's an excellent nickname :lol :lol I could tell by the ESPN screencap that SAS was furious but I didn't want to actually listen to him be furious

Matt Jones was averaging close to 5ypc on Sunday. Didn't get a touch when it was 1st & goal. Gruden/McVay got too cute and went away from something that was working...and may have actually taken some pressure off of Cousins.

Letting Morris go had to be done. I got no ill-will towards him b/c he's a class guy...but Jones is a far superior player at this point. My issue is with the discrepancy between pass/run plays over the past 2 games. Something like 99 attempts for Cousins and only 20 rushes for Jones. It's a joke.

2 games (vs the Browns and Bears) "proves" Wentz is legit. :hat

I'm on the bandwagon.

Exactly Matt is running pretty good from what I see... people need to let Alf go. I ****** with him to be let's not act like dude was top 5 or something... Matt is more than capable.

I just kept it simple.. based on his size, strength and intangibles.. I got the risk

as I said during the draft time, sure I would love to get deshaun Watson.. but I didn't think we would be in position to get him (I assumed we would be just decent enough to not get him and whoever was that bad wouldn't trade the pick or it would take a crap load to get it)

and we've seen small school guys succeed before, so wasn't going use that simply as a knock against him.. and we've had guys raise late in the process before when they got to the senior bowl or any of these other things when they get around scouts and NFL coaches, so again wasn't going use lack of exposure against the guy

but I like most figured he would sit and learn, but you cant pass up that Vikings offer.. just like someone calls for Mathews and/or sproles right now, you gotta listen

but from everything we heard throughout the draft process was how smart he was off the field and how dedicated he was to the team on and off the field (stuff like working with guys when he suffered his injury to help them get prepared).. so not surprised he put the work in to get ready

Even vs. the Steelers, Jones isn't getting enough touches to get in any sort of rhythm. The way Gruden/McVay call games w/ the pass/run differential, is like how a 15yo would navigate through a game of Madden.

You guys can keep bringing up these stats about Rodgers but his receivers are still getting no separation. Cobb and Jordy aren't really getting by anybody right now. Adams was trash last year but he's been their most explosive looking receiver so far. Hopefully Jordy gets his legs back cause they need him badly.
