He is a more exciting QB to watch and has a chip on his shoulder like Gannon had.
I woulda been fine with either though…any QB as long as it stopped being Carr.

coaches aren’t scheming much, not looking for mismatches, you’ll also have a starters not really trying their best, and you can’t blame them…
i agree they dont look great in Preseason, but preseason is always basic and hard to judge for us fans.

i'm not either, but if Adams vouches for him, then i guess we should have some optimism. its not like Fields is looking stellar in PIT either. i would be a lot more concerned if he was.

Never seen Byron Young do a thing in the league. Always a healthy scratch and could never beat out other DT who were later traded or cut.

the key is our DL. if someone other than Maxx can actually get to the QB, it will make life much easier for our DBs. we also need to learn to cover the TE. we've struggled there for years, across multiple coaching staffs.

Somehow we managed 19ppg last season. the chargers game may have inflated that a bit but we upgraded at QB, OLine and TE. and our defense has upgraded too.
Yet we’re all still doubting
