The McLaren Automotive Thread

Oh, I remember this... what an idiot. He had almost gotten lucky when he straightened out his car, but had to keep his foot on the pedal. 🙄

And didn't he ask all the accounts to take down the vid cuz he didn't want his insurance to see it or something? 😒😒😒

I think even Tavarish wanted to try and rebuild it, but there was too much damage.

Whoa! I completely forgot about this thread lol.

I’ve been binging a looot of McLaren F1 content on YouTube and it just reaffirms my love for the car, especially the longtail version all thanks to NFS High Stakes (childhood fave). Thank you, Gordon Murray.

On a side note, great job by the McLaren F1 team this past weekend! Been a big fan of Piastri and although he took P4, the whole team has been on a TEAR lately. Hoping Nando keeps it up and challenges Max for the top spot!

I saw! What a ****ing idiot. And the fact that fool continued to film while his passenger's head was still bleeding. He can **** off. 🤬

The sad part is, his next vid will probably pay for all of that.

🤔 I haven't driven in the US in YEARS, but I think both cars were trying to beat the red, going thru the yellow. But ultimately, is it not the McLaren's responsibility to yield/avoid oncoming traffic if they are the ones turning left?

yup, the mclarens at fault on that one, the one going straight has the right of way but it looks like both vehicles are at fault perhaps?

the suv that the mclaren was following obviously thought they had time to cross and they did but the mclaren followed too closely and didnt see that there was another incoming car and just followed so he should have yielded

but the honda should have also maybe slowed down a bit after seeing the suv cross as the honda nearly clipped it too but at the end of the day, the honda wouldnt have had enough time to completely stop there anyways and the mclaren would be at fault id think
