The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

looking at hunt's record, his losses usually come from arm submissions or knees/kicks...

...brock might have good arm submissions? while he mounts & smothers? brock isn't ko'ing hunt with a kick imo

Never saw the brock lesnar allure in MMA....

dude is a overly-muscular, tall *** freetyle wrestler....i mean if he makes it out the first round...dudes gas tank is GONE......

he's like a modern dan severn, 1 dimensional as ****

I mean he is strong....but what else?????

Brock Lesnar, Age 38 (turns 39 days after ufc200), MMA Record 5-3

Mark Hunt, Age 42, MMA Record 12-10-1

both may weigh in around 265lbs.

He tapped Carwin out which isn't anything special tbh. I think Brock is gonna get starched by Hunt and i'm sticking to it

easy to say that now, Carwin was undefeated and tearing thru everyone at that time...not to mention he came back from a *** whooping in rd 1

Mmafighting.com's statement in response to UFC's was

MMAFighting.com is appreciative of the fact that the UFC was willing to rethink its stance, however, we respectfully disagree with the UFC's claim that "recurring tactics used by [Ariel Helwani] extended beyond the purpose of journalism."

SB Nation and MMA Fighting will continue to stand behind Helwani's work and the contributions of the rest of the employees on the staff.

Carwin was so close to tko'ing Brock. That was when I knew Brock was in trouble. I wasn't on nt at the time but I was on another board and everyone gave me crap for saying Cain had a great chance to win

It was special because carwin hit Brock with punches in the first round that would've killed 10 normal people.

People hate on Brock so much but his time in the ufc was entertaining and fun. One of the few larger than life people that have been on the ufc.

jason guida lol. dude is the definition of a can.
“It looked like Nate Diaz got into an altercation with Jason Guida, Clay Guida’s older brother’ Rodner stated. ‘I have no idea what it was over, but all of a sudden there were a ton of bodies entering the tunnels in the back (of the arena). ‘After the scuffle had ended, Diaz walked back into the arena as though nothing had happened. he didn’t give one single f*ck.”
