The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

Conor lost and he's fighting Diaz again somehow while holding up a belt.

I don't think it will matter.

Plus if Bisping loses, he wouldn't lose his belt. Fight wouldn't be at his weight class.

Only think I worry about is them dudes working on Fox together. I feel like it will be a glorified sparring match.

Nah you can get a legit PPV out of Bisping coming off a win versus coming off a loss especially if they let him headline out in London. I get the business logic. But I think Bisping would slee DC :lol

Conor is headlining a PPV coming off a loss.

If Bisping has a belt, it won't matter. Especially in London and especially with how he can sell a fight.

No shame in losing to DC on short notice. True fans will understand. Casual fans won't care.

I'll take either or to be honest though.

Idk if this is a dumb question or not-

If this B test comes back negative, would Jon fight on 200 again?

don't quote me on this, but i think jon's reps said that the sample wouldn't be finished being analyzed in time for the event.

Amidst all the madness I almost forgot there's a title fight tonight.

Kind of pulling for Eddie. Just because I tend to root for the underdog.

in today's press conference - he said the results of 'sample b' should be available tonight - if he understood correctly

good stuff.

maybe they're holding back on announcing the spider/DC fight until sample B's results comeback.

episode 5 of the ufc 200 vlog is up w/ DC's reaction to the news of jon testing positive

Damn. 11 pounds of water weight. For you guys who have cut weight before, if you have like 10 pounds to cut how long before weigh-ins do you start to cut? Do you not eat the night before and start to sweat it out early the next morning? I've seen fighters just swish water in their mouth and spit it out when they're thirsty. I'd be thirsty AF.

RDA pressure will bring out the Bellator Eddie Alvarez, which should make it a great scrap IMO

Hopefully RDA at least gets his chin tested once or twice

Yeah I hope so, Eddie ain't a slouch, although he hasn't looked great since coming to the UFC. I'm actually pretty hyped for this one, his boxing and movement might really give RDA problems
