Saturday's card looks great. Robbie v Matt Brown should be good. Rumble said he's looking for a stoppage against Lil Nog. Josh Thomson always brings it and I think Masvidal v Cruickshank could be a potential great fight.
Belfort granted a license by the Nevada commission, and UFC announced he'll be fighting Weidman on Dec 6 in Las Vegas.
The Dec 6 card is shaping up to be good too with Gilbert v Pettis already scheduled to fight. I wonder if they're still looking at Rousey v Carano to fight on the Dec card. 3 title fights on 1 card sounds great but idk if they'd actually do it.

Sucks for Gus. Heard he hurt his knee. Now he has to be hoping that Jones wins. If DC wins, Jones gets an immediate rematch so he'd have to wait longer for a title shot.
Nope he put off surgery. He gotta know that Jones is gonna be throwing those front knee kicks all day like he did with Rampage.

UFC 178 is stacked! I have a feeling DC is going to dominate And rag doll Jones. He might be shorter but he has proven himself with some of the best HW fighters. He's good at closing distance, has great wrestling and good striking. I'll be rooting for Jones though. Hopefully he can prevent the takedowns and use his reach and eye pokes to his advantage

Hope DC been staying in shape after that surgery and I hope this aint microwaving a potential great fight between he and Jones for the sake of salvaging the event. I would like them to go at it relatively healthy and with a decent amount of camp time.

He was supposed to have the surgery but then he wanted to have one last wrestling match which happened at the UFC expo before UFC 175. Then he was gonna have surgery the following week but he put it off.
That's why I think Jones is gonna use those knee kicks just like he did with Rampage. Rampage is still pissed about those kicks and thought that they should be made illegal cause they hyperextend the knee.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I will anyway. I wasn't saying Frankie deserved a shot right now either. I'm saying Cub and Frankie should fight for that shot.
This all really started because Frankie is "ranked" above Cub. Frankie is easily the more accomplished fighter and has been for quite some time.
I don't know how you could be upset over him being ranked over a guy with Cub's resume. And I'm a big Cub fan. I almost bought that dude's ******* T Shirt for the gym. But come on....
Fact is, TUF really ****** this all up. BJ had no business fighting. Cub and Frankie should have fought instead of this season of TUF, which was boring as **** and we'd have a true #1 contender.
Crazy thing is, if BJ had won that fight, there was a good chance he'd be the one fighting Aldo next. Because I know the UFC wants some new blood in there.
Like you said, Conor about to be the next dude on a "streak" being pre-mauturely discussed for a title shot too. Clear as day.
