woodley 5'9

Think RDA does fine, he can compete at 70 for sure...its just a matter of if his chin is on the decline now or not.

masvidal bout to get worked, im telling yall....

I hope cowboy does work him for all the trash Jorge been spewing. I worry about Jorge's ruggedness and boxing. If he fights smart and tactical I believe he can beat cowboy in a decision

Also, jacare vs boetch added to the holm card. Why tho

Jacare vs Tim Boetsch for UFC 208! Decent Co-main, at least Jacare is getting some work.

Surprised there is no announce for Bisping/Romero yet. 209 is announced with no main event.

woodley 5'9 but hes massive

rda is like the perfect size for 155 after his cut

what is the point of this possible Woodley Bisping fight anyways? Catchweight and no belt... so who cares?

Seems like they want Nick Diaz on that one but I heard he already passed on Lawler and no way they give him a shot for his first fight back.

RDA scared of Conor? 8o

probably saw what conor did to eddie and didnt want those problems

i really want see conor do two fights in one night. that'd be a record breaking event

not mad at woodley for trying to call his shots, but sadly, nobody really cares who he is fighting

Woodley and Bisping does nothing for both fighters. Not to mention that it's at catchweight. Not even sure how that's considered a "money fight".

Crazy that RDA is moving to 170. Did he have weight cutting issues? I don't recall him missing weight in the past.

On a side note:

this how the game go brodie.

cats is fighting 10-20 pounds under what they walk around at, id say about 90% of the UFC cuts weight (excluding HW's)

usually guys start their career cutting as much weight as possible leaving the option to move up as their career progresses/declines

u get some cats who cut 25+ pounds every fight

Id say on average most doods cut at least 15 pounds during fight week

I'd like to see weightcutting discontinued and see who would be in what weight class.

congrats, man. the next three will come quick, and before you know it, you're getting your blue.

when i was a newb, charles gracie told me that getting your blue meant you were capable of beating the **** out of any untrained man you'll ever encounter. that really galvanized me to train more lol

Jumping up and down divisions don't mean an easier ride these days. Most divisions are stacked so the sole benefit is your health and performance being optimal at any given weight.

I imagine RDA will be fine given his pedigree. At this stage of his career he's got to look after his health and take exciting fights like Cowboy is doing.

I wish that were true :lol

Once I get to black belt and I'm on a TRT regimen I might oblige a fool but until then I'm watching my step.

a blue belt from a good school will destroy almost every untrained person they'll ever encounter.  gracies used to let their blues beat up people who walked into their schools for the gracie challenge to prove this point.

16-year-old ryron gracie as a blue belt taking on a wrestler in the gracie challenge--an open challenge to anyone who wants to test the effectiveness of BJJ in a fight. this one was an outlier as it was grappling only; most of them were full-contact vale tudo(no holds barred) rules. if you were a self-proclaimed "master" of a martial art, you had the pleasure of facing one of the gracie black belts.

The move makes sense .. Very interested in seeing his first fight at 170

I agree especially after hearing his cut issues

The height is an issue but not big enough to keep hurting your body at 155

Hopefully rda gets back on track and I'm glad he gave Maia his proper respect. That Ferguson fight right after getting ko'd might have taken his soul though. I'm praying that didn't happen
