Oh no, I 100% agree with this and was what I was alluding to. Conor's star may not have ever gotten as bright as it was without Nate. Of course Conor would have still been a huge star but RDA being such a boring personality wouldn't have made for iconic banter like Nate vs Conor did... not to mention RDA realistically could have beaten himYou’re going to say I like to argue. But I think RDA getting hurt helped Conor, UFC and Nate Diaz in the long run.
UFC got to run back McGregor/Diaz for another huge PPV.
Nate Diaz enjoyed his two highest pay days. Dude was getting paid peanuts. It also made him a bigger star.
Without Conor's star getting as bright as it did, Dana and the Brothers never sell their Wolf Ticket to the new owners. They may have never gotten the ESPN/Disney deal. So many other dominos... Conor really elevated The UFC and the sport in general thanks in part to Nate
