UFC should just shut down womens 135 and 145. One has a handful of athletes. The other has been the worst women’s division after straw weight and fly weight.

I tink she has two fights left on her PFL contract. I could see Dana keeping WMNS 145 alive if Kayla decides to come.

But…they’d never make a women’s 155. Even less fighters to fill the roster.

I know PFL matched bellator offer and kept her for this year. After this year she’s a free agent and PFL looses their exclusive matching rights. Just a weird situation considering they have yet to make a fight for her this year and she’s complained about being on the sidelines healthy and ready to fight. I always thought Kayla/nunes was a super fight and with that out the only other matchup I could think for her is cyborg in bellator.

The Rock is a great motivational speaker but I listened to his The Pivot pod appearance and guy definitely has a script regarding that $7 in his pocket and how he feels for everyone that ever only had that 7 in their pocket at one point in time smh.

Still doesn't take away from the fact that he should have gotten a title shot. He just happened to be a victim of the Just Some Fight era and them trying to shore up the card because it was weak.

Julianna Pena versus Holly Holm for the Women's Bantam Weight title. Book it for Holly's popularity. Book it for Pena being the biggest mouth in women's MMA. Book it because all of these women are fake.

135 womens division washed bc its full of old point fighters with sub par striking. Viera losing to Pennington held the divIsion back. Now we prolly get a Pennington-Pena snoozer....would not be shocked if they put it on a fight night. Shevchenko-Pena would be a fight that can sell. Taila Santos can move up and be champ for sure. Manon Fiorot also. Too many killers at 125...spread some out to 135 or the division will die.

She last fought in March. Got to give Holly credit for essentially losing to only the best fighters out there from Cyborg, Nunes, Shevchenko, etc. I'd imagine her next fight has to be her last since she is 41 years old.
