I really hope they don't merge with PFL, rather see a big network like Turner, etc. pick them up. Don't need even more of this smart cage BS with pointless stats plastered across the screen.

But on a serious note, getting rid of a major international org hurts the overall MMA competition between UFC and the field. Many guys won't have a place that can even pay them 10k/10k and will be left to fight for crumbs in Europe or local promotions. If PFL does buy them I could see guys either staying there, going to another org like Rizin/One or some of the top fighters angling for the UFC if their contracts are up.

Yeah PFL seems incompetent. I thought the first two seasons were fine. But it got stale due to the talent season three to now.

Now if their goal is to obtain the Bellator talent and put some in the Bellator like season and also have big fights…cool. Two concurrent promotions nah lol.

Well for Lewis…it could rehab. For Almeida, it doesn’t do too much. Blaydes was ranked higher. They’re both tough outs. Lewis can have the ToD. While Blaydes is more well rounded and has that boring lay and pray.

Aspinall/Pavlovich would definitely be in the discussion for top HWs once we know the fall out of MSG.

This makes too much sense. From what Dana's saying it looks like they'll wait out the results of Costa/Chimaev and if one wins convincingly they get the shot against Strickland. That's of course assuming Izzy is really going to take an extended break of say 6+ months.

Someone needs to make Belal understand that he's never going to get the fights he wants or get paid like a champion unless he makes his fights at least somewhat exciting.

Right or wrong...that's the way it is.

If he doesn't care whether he's viewed as exciting or not, that's just fine.

But I don't want hear him complaining about it.

At this point I'm ambivalent about it.

Costa hit his ceiling as a fighter during the Adesanya fight.

He's as delusional as any fighter I've ever seen.

I'd rather see Khamzat fight someone on the come up.

Even though I don’t like belal, I can admit he deserves a title shot. Saving that card in the spring and going 5 rounds with burns should have given him this title opportunity but unfortunately Dana gave it to Colby. But while belal sits on the sidelines someone like shavkat or islam (if he wins) are going to jump over him for the next title shot. Doesn’t matter if you deserve a title shot, or what the fans want and what Dana wants.
