I've only watched their 2nd fight once but I thought robbie was lucky the judges gave him the decision. I thought it was close but lawler hit hendricks with everything and he wouldn't go away.

I'll agree that it was close when I re-watched it.
But his last fights (Lawler 2 and Brown) were boring to me. And he coasted in his fight against GSP and then complained for months talking about how much damage he did to GSP and how he should've been crowned champ. It annoyed me that he felt so entitled to something he didn't earn.

Looking back on this interview from a year ago, you can tell Faber of wants ultimate control of the gym. I don't blame him, he did create it. At the same time I could see why someone like Ludwig would say what he did today and why he would have friction at a place like Team Alpha Male. Faber will always be bigger than anyone else at TAM and by nature that sort of clashes with a head coach. I'm not surprised Ludwig only last a few years there

I'm excited for lawler vs condit. The trilogy match up can wait, i think fans are more excited to see lawler vs condit than Hendricks putting his head in between Robbie's legs lol.

Makes sense. TJ trains and works out at TAM and then when the fight gets near he sharpens his striking/boxing with Ludwig.

He does have a legit claim. And Lawler/Hendricks fighting and winner fighting winner of a Woodley/Condit fight does make sense with unfinished business of sorts between all parties.
But as a big fan of both, I want to see Lawler/Condit while I can before anything derails it.

Rematches are definitely out of control.
With that said, Hendricks is the only mma guy I can think of that mighta got jerked in two separate title fights (GSP and Robbie 2). Definitely think he beat GSP and robbing him of that win was some real bull ****. That was his chance to claim he beat one of the best of all time and they jerked him.
I think technically he beat Robbie in the rematch on points too but I'm not mad at that because Robbie is my dude, I thought Robbie had a claim to winning the first fight, and Hendricks was stalling way too much in the rematch.
And yeah Condit is the least deserving of a title fight between him, hendricks and woodley but whatever, it'll be exciting. I think Robbie wins though.
