THE NO SLAP_IT SUMMER...WHO'S DOWN? Vol. LEAVE PETER ALONE

To all my fellow NTers that have decided not to fap, please make sure to research both sides of the coin.

From what I've read and my understanding, Freud's work on the matter of sexual repression can lead to generalized anxiety disorder (aka neurosis).

I'm not trying to stop anyone from doing no fap, I'm just looking to provide more information regarding the subject before you guys continue to commit to anything. I only want everyone to make a decision after they've really researched on the matter.

I'm curious, why don't you guys just quit viewing porn?

-Drew
for me I'm just completely going with the no fap so I can see if i can try and not focus and get those urges as much. And just try to clear my head as well. not sure if it will work, first time doing it. I also feel like fapping makes me continue being a dog and checking out girls like crazy, so just trying a different approach

Thruth be told this isnt the first time I stopped. When I was 19, I stopped for a year and a half because I really started to believe I was the only lame fapping. I ended up starting back because there really was no difference. I didnt become this super thirsty guy and all this jazz.

It only feels like a big deal the first few weeks, after about week 4 its nothing.

How do you personally deal with this

How do you personally deal with this

When I tried out No Fap, personally I didn't find any difference either. In fact, I felt that it proved to be more of an annoyance than anything. The pains of not being able to release my sexual urges truly bothered me and it seemed to affect my focus throughout day to day activities. The instant I released it, I felt a burden lift from my shoulders and I was able to go back to work and such with a clear mind.

I honestly feel that if you just quit porn, and masturbate in regulation (not to the point that it keeps you away from your responsibilities), you'd be in a better standing healthwise than if you masturbate to porn regularly or stop fapping cold turkey for said amount of time.

Balance is the key in life, bros.

You need to document changes physically, mentally.

You know how there's those before and after pictures? Is there something that I can find where like in the span of 30 days they took a pictures of there face or body each day to see some progress.

Haha I wasn't talking about that. Like some people claim that their skin be glowing or their face just looks better. So I wanted to see if it was actually true

It's like P Diddy doing a Proactive commercial.  Before and After pics are THE SAME. lolz

That's exactly what I'm expecting. No fap thing is all in your mentality. I'm pretty sure there aren't any real drastic physical changes. But I'm sure everyone's xperience is different.

I've read a few things, the original link OP posted doesn't work.  Hope he fixes it.  I think there is some truth to it, so we'll see.  I know people make a joke outta this, but I do and have read about how fighters like DeLa Hoya, Pacquiao don't shoot so that they don't tire the body out and what not.  But I don't know about these claims about people holding it in for 1 year or whatever. LOLz

No fap is more mental than physical in my experience. I don't know what it is, but I just feel more confident, more toned, my voice seems deeper, and I walk with my head about as high as my neck will allow it. The benefits are real. Whereas when I'm doing the deed every day or so, I feel shameful. Not nearly as much confidence as I'll usually have if I weren't choking myself. Not a care, and simply just lazy about everything. But when you're ejaculating everyday you get used to it. It becomes like a daily routine such as eating, working out, etc etc. So your mind programs you into thinking its normal, that you're okay. You forget how great it feels to go without. Hard to explain.

But, I feel wavy right now nonetheless. I even think I grew about two inches. (In height, and

) But that might just be me.

Day 18.

You shouldn't be feeling shameful.

That's what Freud was talking about in regards to how unhealthy it is to repress your sexual urges.

From what I can gather online, there has never been any scientific study that backs up the claims of the benefits of no fap. I have only come across studies that have shown the benefits of masturbation in moderation.

To rephrase, I don't necessarily feel shameful. I agree, that wasn't the best term to use. But, not as confident, yes. I definitely can tell a huge difference from when I fap, and when I abstain. Its hard to explain. I believe there isn't anything wrong with masturbation. In moderation of course. Its the desensitization mentally, and physical. Due to porn, and masturbation if not done in moderation. I'm not abstaining for the benefits, but for self control. That is what I'm fighting against.

A few of the benefits I've experienced;

- Brighter skin

- Deeper voice

- Slight increase in height; both ways

- High confidence levels

- No anxiety

- Clear mind (can think a lot better)

- Drive to do more

- Healthier erection

- Appreciation for the female body

- Stronger and faster; more gains

And the female specimen seem to feel my aura from a mile away.
