i remember when lamar got drafted i was shocked he didnt get picked up earlier... he was a heisman winner for a reason not surprised hes good in the nfl

Mahomes MVP was the perfect storm too? Remember, Mahomes and LJ were suppose to be “late first round picks” or 2nd rounders. Look at all the weapons baker mayfield has..... it can be argued that LJ had the 3rd or 4th best weapons compared to Darnold, Baker & Mahomes. Lamar had Willie Snead, Mark Andrews and Hollywood. He didn’t even have a 1000 yard receiver. We all know Baker and Mahomes got weapons.

Darnold had Robbie and Leveon. Both above average players.
Lamar has done a lot with less offensive talent

Dudes can never just give Lamar credit for balling out of his mind. Yes he ended up in a good system, but he had a historical season that many of you didn’t think was possible.

Lamar easily has the best oline of the 3.. also Greg Roman is far better than whatever baker had.. also ravens have some pretty good weapons

Darnold also has a good slot receiver in Jameson Crowder. And they also use the “age excuse”...he and Lamar are only 6 months apart. They both were 22 last year

No one is not giving Lamar credit. That’s you saying that to fit the narrative you’re running with because that’s your dude. That’s fine and there’s nothing wrong with that. Literally everyone has said he’s a great talent. Lamar had a phenomenal season last year but you can’t ignore facts or facets about that team that also allowed him to succeed.
